This film mixes live action and animation. Bob Hoskins plays a seedy private eye who is sent on an investigation in Toon-town, an L.A. suburb which houses all the cartoon characters. Jessica Rabbit, a sexy, almost human toon, is up to all sorts of mischief and Hoskins is out to find out exactly what she's doing, involving himself in murder and intrigue.

Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter reprise their roles in this fantasy adventure sequel based on Lewis Carroll's novel, directed by James Bobin and produced by Tim Burton. Alice (Wasikowska) finds herself in a mysterious, alternate world after going through a mirror and emerging on the other side of the glass. While there she discovers that the Mad Hatter (Depp) is in danger and that Wonderland could be turned into a wasteland by the evil Time (Sacha Baron Cohen). As Alice tries to turn back time in order to save her friend she once again comes face-to-face with the Red Queen (Bonham Carter)... The film also stars Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum while the voice cast includes Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar, Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat and Michael Sheen as the White Rabbit.

In 1940 three English children are evacuated from London, only to discover the lady they're staying with (Angela Lansbury) is a witch - but a good one. With the aid of her spells and a magic bed, the children visit an undersea kingdom, witness a football match played by teams of wild cartoon animals, and successfully thwart a Nazi invasion of Britain. Live action and animation are combined in this Oscar-winning Disney film, which also features the songs 'Portobello Road' (as performed by the spiv Bruce Forsyth) and 'The Beautiful Briny Sea'.

Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos.

Sci-fi action. Early in the 21st century, billionaire Charles Weyland (Lance Hendriksen) is convinced that his satellite thermal imaging system has picked up evidence of an ancient life form buried under the ice in remotest Antarctica. When a team of archaeologists sets out to investigate, they find more than they had bargained for: the ancient pyramid temple they discover contains evidence that the alien life form it contained could still be in existence. They then find out from studying the hieroglyphics in the temple that an even greater threat is hanging over them: a group of Predators - the feared intergalactic hunters - are on their way to earth to take part in a rite-of-passage battle with the aliens that could lay waste to the human race...

Double bill of Disney's 'Peter Pan' adventures. The first film, 'Peter Pan' (1953), tells the story of what happens when Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up, visits the Darling family nursery and takes the children on a magical journey to Never Land. When they arrive they become embroiled in an on-going battle between Peter, his friends the Lost Boys, and the wicked Captain Hook, a pirate who has lost his hand and his watch to a hungry crocodile.

In the sequel, 'Return to Never Land' (2001), Wendy Darling is now a grown-up woman with a 12-year-old daughter of her own; but the daughter, Jane, no longer believes her mother's tales about Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, thinking herself too old for stories of fairies and magical lands. So when Captain Hook's pirate ship appears in the sky above London and swoops down to kidnap the cynical young lady, it's fair to say that she has to reconsider her worldview. A warship is sent to investigate a 'creature' that is sinking vessels in the middle of the sea.

The warship itself is sunk and three survivors end up aboard the 'monster', a submarine called 'The Nautilus', skippered by the insane but brilliant Captain Nemo.

The rest of the adventure includes a titanic battle with a giant squid.

Double bill of action/adventure. In 'National Treasure' (2004), Nicolas Cage stars as Benjamin Franklin Gates, an archaeologist from the seventh generation of a family of treasure-seekers who have all shared the same quest: to discover the whereabouts of an old war chest full of gold hidden by the founding fathers in the last days of the Revolutionary War. In 'National Treasure 2 - Book of Secrets' (2008), Nicolas Cage reprises his role as artefact hunter and archaeologist, Ben Franklin Gates. When a missing page from the diary of Abraham Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth, surfaces, one of Ben's ancestors is implicated as a conspirator in the murder. In an attempt to clear their family's name, Ben and his father, Mitch (Jon Voight), travel the globe in search of the other missing pages from Booth's diary. The journey leads Ben and his crew not only to surprising revelations, but to the trail of the world's most treasured secrets.

Another Muppet adventure with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Rizzo, Fozzy and Animal. The Muppets must go to the North Pole to personally deliver three letters to Santa after they accidentally stop them from being posted. Trying to reach Santa before he sets out on Christmas Eve to deliver presents, the hapless Muppets face a whole host of obstacles and problems. Whoopi Goldberg, Uma Thurman, Jane Krakowski and Tony Sirico also star.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilised universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau.

Assisted by Mr Potato Head, Slinky Dog and Rex the Dinosaur, action figure Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) sets off to the rescue, but when they get to Al's store Buzz is mistakenly boxed up and his place taken by a new, flashier Lightyear model - complete with utility belt!

Meanwhile, Woody has discovered that he was once the star of a popular children's television show, and is no longer sure he wants to return to Andy's toy cupboard.
