Big screen adaptation of the popular Marvel superhero comic. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is the billionaire owner of Stark Industries, a corporation that specialises in weapons development. When Tony is kidnapped by terrorists in Afghanistan, he is made to construct a devastating weapon. Instead, however, he builds a high-tech suit of armour and uses it to escape from captivity. When Stark discovers a conspiracy that could have serious repercussions for the whole world, he uses his new invention to try and stop the villains and save the world. Gwyneth Paltrow co-stars as Stark's secretary, Pepper Potts.

When explorer Professor Porter (Nigel Hawthorne) arrives in the jungle with his daughter Jane (Minnie Driver) and adventurer Clayton (Brian Blessed), Tarzan discovers his human heritage for the first time, gradually learning how to speak and spending time at the visitors' encampment. However, although Porter merely wishes to study the gorillas, Clayton secretly plans to capture them and take them back to England, and tries to trick Tarzan into leading him to the tribe.

During his adventures, he remains haunted by dreams of his previous life. As a human child, he befriended Nita (Mandy Moore), the daughter of a tribal elder. The pair's past friendship collides with the present as Kenai and Nita embark on a journey as bear and woman.
Third instalment in the Pixar/Disney CGI-animated series, filmed for theatrical release using Disney Digital 3D. The yearning to return home cannot be ignored, however, and many comical adventures ensue as the toys make a series of elaborate escape attempts. The film won Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature Film and Music (Original Song).

Things, however, don't go to plan when the kiss only succeeds in changing Tiana into a frog too. Together, the two unfortunate amphibians go in search of Mama Odie (Jenifer Lewis), the good voodoo priestess of the Bayou. As they make their way through the mystical bayous of Louisiana, they encounter new friends in the form of Louis (Michael-Leon Wooley), a trumpet-playing alligator, and Ray (Jim Cummings), a hopelessly romantic firefly. The film's music comes from the Oscar-winning Randy Newman.
Classic comic espionage caper from Disney studios starring Peter Ustinov and Derek Nimmo. Lord Southmere (Nimmo) hides a top-secret microfilm containing the formula for the mysterious 'Lotus X' in a dinosaur skeleton at the Natural History Museum in London after narrowly escaping from a gang of ruthless Chinese spies. When he realises that the spies are following him, he instructs his former nanny Hettie (Helen Hayes) to retrieve the microfilm. Southmere is then promptly recaptured by the head spy, Hnup Wan (Peter Ustinov), while the resourceful Hettie assembles a group of fellow nannies to help her search for the microfilm. But the nannies are up against the cunning of the evil spy gang, who will stop at nothing to get to the prized Lotus X before Hettie and her helpers.
Based on a real scenario at the 1988 Olympics, this comedy focuses on the trials and tribulations of the first ever Jamaican bob-sled team and their coach (John Candy). Derice Bannock is due to qualify for Jamaica's track team but due to an accident his hopes are dashed. He finds out that a gold-medallist lives in Jamaica, former US resident and bob-sled champion Irv Blitzer (Candy) and persuades him to coach a team for entry into the 1988 Olympics. However, the team Bannock puts together has never sat in a bob-sled let alone seen snow. |
