All eight episodes from the first season of Olivier Marchal's French police thriller series. The series follows a group of police led by Eddy Caplan (Jean-Hugues Anglade) who use violent and unorthodox methods in their criminal investigations. When this is brought to the attention of Internal Affairs, the department is faced with the difficult and dangerous task of exposing the group's methods and putting a stop to them. Meanwhile, Caplan and his colleagues attempt to discover who is responsible for smearing the reputation of their former leader who has committed suicide following spurious allegations of corruption. Tense drama following the relationship between a self-destructive, alcoholic widower and a Christian charity shop worker. Drama based on the gothic romance by Daphne Du Maurier. Emilia Fox stars as the second wife of recently widowed aristocrat Max de Winter, whose first wife, the eponymous Rebecca, was - from all accounts - a beautiful socialite adored by the Manderley housekeeper Mrs Danvers (Diana Rigg, who won an Emmy for her performance). An innocent, shy young middle class girl half her husband's age, the new Mrs de Winter finds herself lost and alone in a world where social graces and accomplishments are everything. But unfortunately for her, she soon discovers that the bitterness and resentment of Mrs Danvers is the least of her troubles...
Upon hearing that an old friend has died, a writer (Richard Dreyfuss) reminisces about his childhood in the Fifties. As a twelve-year-old boy, Gordie's (Will Wheaton) friends consisted of 'bad' kid Chris (River Phoenix), Teddy (Corey Feldman) and the pudgy Vern (Jerry O'Conell). When the latter hears his older brother bragging that his gang have seen the dead body of a local missing person by the railway track, the four boys set out to find the corpse for themselves. Rob Reiner directs this adaptation of Stephen King's novella 'The Body'.

Double Oscar-winning musical drama following the meteoric rise of a 1960s all-girl vocal group. Based on the 1981 Broadway hit musical, the film follows full-figured belter, Effie White (Jennifer Hudson), and her school friends, Deena Jones (Beyonce Knowles) and Lorrell Robinson (Anika Noni Rose), aka The Dreamettes. They're a Chicago amateur vocal group who enter the famous amateur night at the legendary Harlem Apollo in New York singing a song by Effie's brother, CC (Keith Robinson), and come out on top. The four girls meet sweet-talking Curtis Taylor Jr. (Jamie Foxx), a promoter and manager who in no time gets the star-struck gang the gig as back up vocalists for the famous Jimmy 'Thunder' Early (Eddie Murphy). The match is perfect and their combined career takes off. Soon things get complicated when Lorrell begins dating married man Jimmy, and Effie starts getting busy with Curtis. When the two acts part ways, The Dreamettes become the Dreams and consequently famous in their own right, while Jimmy's career tanks in a mire of smooth-pop balladry. Infighting between Effie and Deena over lead privileges, as well as offstage rivalry in love, makes for a lot of tears and heartache for all concerned.

'Far From The Madding Crowd' (1967) is an adaptation of Thomas Hardy's 19th-century story of a woman's passion. Bathsheba (Christie) is in love with three very different men who are also in love with her: her first love is a handsome and wayward soldier; the second is the local noble Lord, and the third is an ever-patient farmer. 'The Go-Between' (1970) is an adaptation of the classic novel by L.P. Hartley. A young teenage boy, Leo (Dominic Guard), is invited to a wealthy school friend's rich family estate and is drawn into a love affair between his friend's twenty-something sister, Marian (Christie), and the family neighbour, even though she is engaged to be married. She uses Leo as a go-between, sending messages to her lover. Despite feeling he is betraying her fiance Hugh (Edward Fox), Leo carries on being the messager boy and discovers more about the attraction between men and women along the way.
