The pilot episode and the complete first series of the spin-off of ITV's long-running crime drama 'Inspector Morse'. The show follows Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans) in his younger years as a police constable during the 1960s. In the pilot 'Endeavour', after dropping out of Oxford University, Morse looks into the disappearance of a schoolgirl - a case which will shape his future. Finding himself ostracised from what becomes a murder investigation, Morse sets out on his own to seek justice. The first series continues to follow Morse as he works alongside his senior partner Detective Inspector Fred Thursday (Roger Allam) and PC James Strange (Sean Rigby) on a number of investigations around Oxford, England. The episodes are: 'Girl', 'Fugue', 'Rocket' and 'Home'.
John Malkovich is among the actors to star in this tale of two youngsters growing up in a remote area of Siberia with its own rules and values. The film is based on the memoirs of Nicolai Lilin, who was part of the Urka community in Transnistria, a tiny independent state on the boundary of Russia. Kolima (Arnas Fedaravicius) and Gagarin (Vilius Tumalavicius) grow up in this unique environment, where many of the values and beliefs are influenced by the area's history as a place where criminals were banished. Though they can draw on the advice of older figures such as Grandfather Kuzya (Malkovich), Kolima and Gagarin will still face many tests of their courage and conviction as they approach manhood.
Matthew Goode and MyAnna Buring star in this two-part ITV drama adapted from the novel by Erin Kelly. Having been released from prison early after serving time for murder, Rex (Goode) is welcomed home by his girlfriend Karen (Buring) and their young daughter. Their dark past is gradually pieced together in flashbacks which show how Karen was first beguiled by Rex and his eccentric sister Biba (Ophelia Lovibond) and how the close bond between the three eventually led to murder.
