Clint Eastwood directs this drama based on the autobiography of Chelsey Sullenberger. Tom Hanks stars as pilot Chelsey 'Sully' Sullenberger and Aaron Eckhart as his co-pilot Jeff Skiles, who were at the helm of Flight 1549 in 2009 when, shortly after take-off, the plane hit a large flock of birds which disabled both engines. In the face of immediate danger, Sully took the decision to make an emergency landing on the Hudson River and successfully managed to save the lives of everyone on board.
