1940s comedy starring George Formby as a junior council employee who gets caught up in a town planning dispute. There should be unity and happiness in the small town of Tangleton - the war has just been won and plans can be made to rebuild the town for a better future. However, when the council tea boy, George Gribble (Formby), is sent to conduct a survey on how the townspeople feel about the council's proposed post-war 'improvements' he is surprised to discover just how poor and unhappy the ordinary people of Tangleton are. When the bigwigs on the council decide to bury the survey and proceed with the plans anyway, George teams up with an eccentric inventor, Sir Timothy Strawbridge (Robertson Hare), and his charming daughter, Jane (Elizabeth Allan), to give a voice to the town's poor and downtrodden.

Calvin Reeder directs this unconventional comedy horror starring Dermot Mulroney as an unnamed man who encounters various bizarre occurrences as he attempts to make his way to his brother's farm. The Rambler (Mulroney) has just been released from prison but is a long way from his destination and, with no means of transport other than his legs and whatever lifts he can beg, will see a lot of the less glamorous side of America on his travels. He meets figures such as the Scientist (James Cady) and The Girl (Lindsay Pulsipher) along the way and is drawn into increasingly unusual events. What does the road hold in store for him?

Stuart Ashens, a YouTube celebrity who reviews cheap electronic products, co-writes and stars in this independent British adventure comedy. Accompanied by his friend Chef Excellence (Dan Tomlinson), Ashens sets out in search of the elusive and not particularly magical Gamechild, a rip-off of the original Nintendo Gameboy. However, with all manner of unexpected friends and foes including The Professor (Robert Llewellyn) and Nemesis (Chris Kendall) standing between them and their goal, Ashens and Excellence will have to have their wits about them if they are to complete their quest. Warwick Davis also stars.
Triple bill of crime dramas. In 'Bad Karma' (2012), starring Ray Liotta and Dominic Purcell, a criminal's attempts to go straight are sabotaged by his former partner. Relocating from Sydney to the Gold Coast to start afresh, Molloy (Liotta) is remarkably successful and even finds something approaching domestic bliss with a new girlfriend. Naturally, when his old crime partner Mack (Purcell) tracks him down he finds that Molloy is reluctant to return to his past life. Unfortunately, this doesn't deter the increasingly deranged Mack as he sets about convincing Molloy to help him pull off one last job. In 'The Entitled' (2011) social misfit Paul (Kevin Zegers) is driven to desperate measures when he is turned down for yet another job and his ill mother is given a foreclosure notice on the family home. He enlists the help of two friends to abduct three kids from rich families and hold them ransom for a million dollars each, but the plan goes badly wrong and they soon find themselves in way over their heads. 'Officer Down' (2012) follows Detective David Callahan (Stephen Dorff), known as 'Cal' on the force, who has had a mixed career as a police officer, struggling with drink problems and straying to the wrong side of the law himself at times. When he finds himself caught up in a murder investigation, Cal must attempt to overcome the demons from his own past as well as the challenges of the case.
