Chris Rock presents this documentary offering an insight into the
fiercely competitive world of Afro-American hairdressing. The film
includes a visit to the Bronner Brothers International Hair Show,
the annual trade show for the African-American hair care industry.
It also looks into the dangers of many common hair-straightening
treatments, reveals the alarmingly high cost of regular hair
'relaxing' and weaves, and asks what the ongoing pursuit of
straight hair says about African-American cultural identity.

British sci-fi drama. After an asteroid crashes into Earth, aliens
invade the ravaged planet to depopulate its surface. As the
invaders' spacecraft hangs ominously in the sky above them,
survivors of the first cull Cole (Richard J. Danum) and Maya
(Gillian MacGregor) frantically search for their missing daughter.
As they embark on their search, the couple's relationship yields to
the conflict of survival in the apocalyptic event's aftermath.
University physicists Leonard and Sheldon know whether to use an integral or a differential to solve the area under a curve. But they don’t have a clue about girls. Or dating. Or clothes. Or parties. Or having fun. Or, basically, life.
So when a pretty blonde named Penny moves in the apartment across the hall, the guys decide to get an education outside of the classroom. Boys, you have a lot to learn.
With series creators Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady concocting the right mix of logic and lunacy and stars Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons turning geekdom into Phi Beta fun, The Big Bang Theory is big on laughs. And life.
Trible bill of the TV animation series following builder Bob (voice of Neil Morrissey) and his gang of vehicles. In 'Can-do Crew' the team fix an old pier and build a surf school. The episodes are: 'Scratch's Hidden Treasures', 'Scrambler's Best Idea', 'High Tide for Lofty', 'Scoop the Artist' and 'Lofty the Monster'.
Triple bill of zombie films. 'Zombie Apocalypse' (2011) is a
made-for-TV horror starring Ving Rhames in which a group of human
survivors of a zombie outbreak set out to make it to an uninfected
island. Ramona (Taryn Manning), Billy (Eddie Steeples) and Kevin
(Gerald Webb) are almost killed when they head out to search for
food. Fortunately for them, they meet a tough group that includes
Henry (Rhames) and Cassie (Lesley-Ann Brandt), who take on the
zombies with weapons as diverse as a sledgehammer and a samurai
sword. 'Abraham Lincoln Vs Zombies' (2012) is a tongue-in-cheek
zombie horror in which Abraham Lincoln is distracted from his
composition of the Gettysburg Address by a more pressing concern -
an outbreak of the undead. Lincoln (Bill Oberst Jr.) leads a team
of Secret Service agents to the area to try and contain the
disaster. There is a suggestion that Lincoln may have some
experience of dealing with zombies from his past and he takes under
his wing a youngster by the name of Teddy Roosevelt (Canon
Kuipers), who may have a role of his own to play in the American
story. 'The Dead' (2010) is a zombie horror set in West Africa.
Robert Freeman stars as Lieutenant Brian Murphy, a military
engineer who finds himself stranded in the wilderness of Burkina
Faso after a zombie outbreak lays waste to civilisation. Eventually
he teams up with Sergeant Daniel Dembele (Prince David Oseia), a
local soldier who has gone AWOL from the army to search for his
missing son.
The next seven episodes from the first series of the children's
CGI-animated cartoon tracing the origins of the sewer-dwelling,
superhero foursome Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo.

Pulverizer', 'TCRI', 'Cockroach Terminator', 'Baxter's Gambit' and
'Enemy of My Enemy'.

Documentary-style sci-fi feature. In 2031, ten years after aliens
first invaded the Earth, a film crew follows an elite infantry unit
as they try to repel the invaders' daily attacks. After the world's
armies are united with the formation of the United Defence Force,
soldiers have managed to reduce the number of murderous
extraterrestrials and patrol them from the remote Outpost 37. But
unbeknown to them, the aliens are planning a second invasion and
the team stationed at the outpost are about to find themselves
massively outnumbered and outgunned when their foes' reinforcements
arrive...
All the best bits from series 1-9 of the comedy panel game show.
Along with all the clips that were too rude for TV, the show
features host Keith Lemon, team captains Holly Willoughby and
Fearne Cotton and guest appearances from, among others, Dermot
O'Leary, Davina McCall, Ant and Dec, JLS, Kelly Brook, Jason
Manford, Mo Farah and The Wanted.
Collection of feature-length animated adventures set in a Lego
version of the DC universe. In 'Justice League: Cosmic Clash'
(2016) the Justice League must defend Earth from Brainiac (voice of
Phil LaMarr), a supercomputer that travels through space collecting
planets, but with his sights set firmly on Earth, the heroes are
going to have their work cut out. To make matters worse, as well as
being seemingly impenetrable, Brainiac also has the ability to bend
time. With members of the Justice League flung into different
periods in Earth's history, will they be able to unite and defeat
the dastardly foe? In 'Justice League: Attack of the Legion of
Doom' (2015) evil Lex Luthor (John DiMaggio) forms a group of
supervillains known as the Legion of Doom and plots to take over
the world leaving the Justice League members, including Batman
(Troy Baker), Superman (Nolan North), Wonder Woman (Grey Griffin),
The Flash (James Arnold Taylor) and Green Lantern (Josh Keaton), to
save the day. In 'Justice League: Gotham City Breakout' (2016)
Batman reluctantly takes a holiday from fighting crime, with the
members of the Justice League agreeing to protect Gotham City while
he is gone. However, problems arise when the Joker (Jason Spisak)
and the other villains breakout of Arkham Asylum. In 'Justice
League Vs. Bizarro League' (2015) Superman decides he can no longer
contain his evil mirror image Bizarro (North) in Metropolis and
decides to send him back to his home planet. Once there the
destructive clone forms his own rival group of superheroes to fight
back. But when Darkseid (Tony Todd) threatens Bizarro's planet and
the entire galaxy, Superman and the rest of the Justice League are
forced to join forces with their polar opposites in the newly
formed Bizarro League to defeat Darkseid and restore order to their
universe.
