Multi-award winning documentary by Brazilian director José Padilha, exploring the conditions and circumstances that led to an armed siege on a Rio bus in June 2000. When Sandro do Nascimento, a young homeless man evidently high on drugs, failed in his attempt to rob Ônibus 174 in a wealthy area of Rio de Janeiro, he took the bus passengers hostage armed with a pistol. The situation escalated as the police, a SWAT team and reporters converged on the bus, and the hijacking unfolded in front of a nation until it reached its tragic and horrific climax. Padilha looks behind the event at the circumstances of Sandro's life: he had watched his mother's brutal murder as a small boy, and managed to survive the 1993 massacre of homeless children at Candelária. The documentary shows the desperation of Sandro's plight, using interviews with people involved in the event, including members of Sandro's family, and live television footage to tell this powerful and unsettling story.

During the Second World War, Air Commodore Waltby is flying to Allied Command Headquarters with an attaché case packed with information that could stave off an invasion by Germany. Shyam Madiraju directs this drama starring Ethan Peck and Nate Parker. After their plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean, the surviving members of a US football team find themselves stranded on a deserted island with limited resources and little hope of rescue. With supplies quickly running out, teammates Andreas (Peck) and Slim (Parker) begin to turn on each other after disagreeing on how to ration their dwindling resources. With the increasingly unbalanced Andreas forming his own faction and taking them to another nearby island, Slim is left to try and hold the remaining survivors together while also trying to protect them from Andreas and his group's violent behaviour. The cast also includes Jessica Lowndes, James Remar and Diego Boneta.

'Someday My Prince Will Come' (2005) looks at life in a small coastal town in Cumbria and follows a young girl and her cousin as they share memories from their childhood and begin to think about what the future may hold. 'Philip and His Seven Wives' (2005) tells the story of Philip Sharp, an ex-rabbi attempting to build a new godly family in his quiet suburban neighbourhood. Believing he has communicated directly with God, Sharp claims he is a former Hebrew king and therefore entitled to take seven wives.

Classic British horror directed by Freddie Francis. After experiencing a number of terrifying nightmares, young student Janet (Jennie Linden) is sent home from her boarding school. Now under the care of her guardian Henry Baxter (David Knight), Janet's nightmares become more regular as she starts having disturbing visions of a mysterious woman dressed in white. When Henry then brings home his wife, who looks exactly like the woman from Janet's dreams, it is enough to finally push a hysterical Janet over the edge.

As the patients restart their treatment they discover that not everyone can be cured...

With the police interfering with his community's traditional way of life, Charlie decides to go and live in the bush. However, he becomes ill and has to be treated in hospital and later runs into trouble with the law. Will he find the peace he is looking for?

After successfully completing the twelve labours set out for him by King Eurystheus as a means of atoning for previous sinful actions, Hercules is now a legendary mercenary in Greece. Using his reputation and strength to his advantage, he is able to overcome the most powerful of enemies. However, when he is asked by the Thracian King (John Hurt) and his daughter to defeat a particularly savage warlord, Hercules finds himself having to endure the most difficult task set for him yet.

Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas star in this sci-fi action movie following the Marvel Comics superhero. Decades earlier scientist Hank Pym (Douglas) invented a special suit that would allow him to transform to the size of an ant and give him super strength. The ageing hero approaches petty thief Scott Lang (Rudd) and, with the help of his daughter Hope Van Dyne (Lilly), Hank trains him to become the new Ant-Man. After Darren Cross (Corey Stoll) takes over his former mentor Pym's business he produces a similar suit to be worn by the military as well as a more powerful suit for himself, transforming him into Yellowjacket. This results in chaos and it's up to Ant-Man to use both his thieving skills and his newfound abilities to save the day.

Collection of seven films from Canadian writer/director Atom Egoyan. In 'Exotica' (1994), pet shop owner Thomas (Don McKellar) arrives in town with a secret cache of rare bird eggs. Sharing a cab from the airport he ends up in Exotica, a local strip club. Fascinated by star stripper Christina (Mia Kirshner), he becomes drawn into her sordid lifestyle, along with the club DJ (Elias Koteas) and a disturbed tax auditor (Bruce Greenwood). As the multiple narratives and chronological twists unfold, the characters find their lives becoming inexorably intertwined as they head towards a shocking conclusion. In 'The Adjuster' (1991), Koteas plays Noah Render, an insurance adjuster whose attempts to help others mask a deeper malaise in his own life. His wife Hera (Arsinée Khanjian) is a disillusioned film censor who obsessively copies the most explicit scenes in the films she is supposed to review. After Noah helps a rich young woman whose house has burned down, Hera invites a young film-maker into their home to shoot a movie, and as their elaborate sexual fantasies are acted out on video, they begin to explore a world where voyeurism and exhibitionism are all-consuming. In 'Family Viewing' (1987), Van (Aidan Tierney) finds himself in a difficult situation when he realises that his father Stan (David Hemblen) is recording over the family's home movies with home-made pornography. Not only is Stan's lover Sandra (Gabrielle Rose) completely at the mercy of his dark fantasies, but she also expresses a sexual interest in Van. Dividing his time between the family home and a nearby nursing residence caring for his aging grandmother Armen (Selma Keklikian), Van meets Aline (Khanjian), who works as a phone-sex operator, and the two concoct a plan to escape his emotionally cold father. In 'The Sweet Hereafter' (1997), powerful lawyer Mitchell Stephens (Ian Holm) arrives in a small town in British Columbia after 14 children die in a school bus crash. Announcing that he will win compensation for the townsfolk, Stephens investigates the mysterious circumstances surrounding the accident, discovering various dark secrets lurking beneath the surface. In 'Calendar' (1993), a photographer (Egoyan) and his wife (Khanjian) travel to Armenia to photograph churches for use in a calendar, employing a native speaking driver (Ashot Adamyan) to escort them around the country. On their travels a relationship develops between the photographer's wife and the Armenian guide. Looking back on this time from his apartment in Toronto, the newly separated photographer contacts women through an escort agency and invites them to dinner, all while his estranged wife tries reconcile with him. In 'Next of Kin' (1984), Peter (Patrick Tierney) is a young man from an Anglo-Saxon family who is constantly under pressure to do something meaningful with his life. The family visit a therapist in the hopes of getting to the bottom of the tension between themselves and Peter's apparent laziness. When Peter visits the clinic before the next session hoping to view the video recording of their last meeting he is given the wrong tape and instead is shown the recording of an immigrant family who had given up their first son for adoption upon entering the country. What Peter then suggests to his family and therapist is that he take a break in order to find himself, but what he actually does is assume the identity of this other family's long lost son. Finally, in 'Speaking Parts' (1989), struggling actor Lance (Michael McManus) works in housekeeping at a local hotel while waiting for his first speaking role. Meanwhile, his co-worker Lisa (Khanjian) is obsessed with him and seeks out all the movies he appears in as a means of satisfying her voyeuristic tendencies. When Lance learns a scriptwriter, Clara (Rose), is staying at the hotel he chooses to leave his résumé in her room in the hope that she'll give him a part in her next film about her late brother. Before long the two become romantically involved and Lance finds himself with his first lead role but Clara becomes increasingly distressed when a series of changes are made to her story by the movie's producer.

Cult Japanese thriller directed by and starring Shin'ya Tsukamoto. When Kiriko (Kyôka Suzuki), his girlfriend of ten years, commits suicide by a gunshot wound to the head, Goda (Tsukamoto) goes in search of the reasons behind her death. Owing to Japan's strict laws, Goda knows that for Kiriko to acquire a pistol she would have needed contacts in the criminal underworld. Before long Goda is in the midst of ongoing gang warfare and while questioning Kiriko's death he comes face to face with his own mortality...

Documentary directed by Alex Fegan about traditional Irish pubs and the publicans who run them. Travelling all over the country, from County Donegal to County Cork, Fegan speaks to a number of tavern owners and their customers about the long tradition of the Irish pub and its importance to local communities. Customarily being passed on from generation to generation, the pub has become an integral part of Irish society with some acting as post offices and grocers as well as a regular watering hole. While reflecting on days gone by, the owners and customers also give their thoughts on whether the pub can continue to withstand the test of time and present economic uncertainty.
