A Magnetic Stud Finder is a tool used to locate studs (the vertical wooden or metal beams behind walls) by detecting nails or screws that are typically used to attach drywall to the studs. Unlike electronic stud finders, a magnetic stud finder uses a magnetic field to sense metal fasteners embedded in the wall. It’s simple to use: as you move the device across the surface of the wall, the magnet will attract to the metal fasteners, helping you pinpoint the location of the studs. This tool is particularly useful for mounting shelves, pictures, or other wall fixtures, as it ensures you anchor into the stud for a secure hold. Magnetic stud finders are often compact, affordable, and do not require batteries, making them a popular choice for DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Testo proudly presents the first waterproof folding food thermometer for the food sector – the testo 104!
Product Description
A robust metal folding joint, a rubber-coated anti-slip surface, a long and precise temperature sensor – and waterproof into the bargain! The testo 104 food probe thermometer comes with a whole host of practical features and benefits for use in the food industry.
The waterproof food thermometer for the food industry
Temperature checks play a vital role in quality assurance, cold chain documentation and hygiene regulations. The testo 104 food probe thermometer allows you to carry out quick and easy spot checks during the production, storage and processing of food. The food probe thermometer measures the core temperature of liquid, semi-solid and viscous media.
The thermometer’s especially thin but nonetheless rugged sensor tip leaves virtually no trace when inserted. The thermometer can also measure the core temperature of food when the probe has been folded out at an angle of only 30°. This allows you to carry out reliable checks in difficult-to-reach places.
The testo 104 is the only folding food thermometer for the food industry which can be cleaned under running water when you have finished measuring. The probe’s rugged metal joint allows it to be folded away and kept in its protective case until you need it again.
And here’s another practical feature: the testo 104 comes with a set of adhesive color strips which you can attach to the individual meters when more than one of the same model are being used.
The testo 104 food probe thermometer is not only HACCP compliant and EN 13485 certified but also splash water protected making it ideal for use in the food sector.

For carrying out surface and core temperature measurements
With integrated probe and infrared laser
Durable and practical: rugged folding joint, waterproof housing (IP65), fits snugly in any pocket
HACCP / EN 13485 compliant
Incoming food, food on display, food in storage: the testo 104-IR infrared probe thermometer allows you to carry out quick and reliable temperature and food safety checks in the course of your busy working day. Ideal for use in the food sector, restaurants and the retail industry.
Product Description
The testo 104-IR food safety thermometer is ideal for carrying out temperature and food safety checks. And because it fits snugly in any pocket, it’s always there when you need it to carry out checks on incoming goods, spot checks during transport or food inspections in the retail industry.
Probe thermometer and infrared thermometer rolled into one
The testo 104-IR is equipped with a high-precision 2-point laser and 10:1 optics which show the exact measurement range and allow you to carry out quick and accurate non-contact surface temperature measurements. The 2-in-1 thermometer is especially useful for checking incoming goods and for scanning the surface temperature of individual food products as well as whole pallets.
The folding probe thermometer is used to measure the core temperature of food products like meat and sausage meat for example. It generally comes into play when the infrared surface measurements are not within the prescribed thresholds. The probe can be folded away when not in use to protect against breakage.
Quick and easy to use. Tried and tested in the field
The thermometer is immediately activated when the probe sensor is folded down. Simply press a key to start the infrared measurement. The results are presented on a large, easy-to-read display. Because the keys themselves are easy to understand, there is no need to instruct individuals on how to use the thermometer. Last but by no means least, the food safety infrared thermometer is waterproof and IP65 rated.
Areas of Application
It doesn’t matter whether the food in question is being delivered, is in transit or in storage – in all three cases it is imperative that the cold chain is maintained at all times. The testo 104-IR food safety thermometer is ideal for ensuring that the prescribed temperature is maintained at each point in the cold chain. And like all the testo temperature meters for the food industry the testo 104-IR is EN 13485 certified and HACCP compliant.
