Arriving in Buenos Aires to prepare the groundwork for the production, Wagner's great-granddaughter, Katharina Wagner, who now runs the Bayreuth Festival, discovers that the rehearsal conditions are not what she expected. At short notice, she decides to entrust the staging of the production to Valentina Carrasco, who has previously worked with the Catalan theatrical group 'La Fura dels Baus'.
