In 2011 HI Art Magazine invited the residents of Hawaii to be part of this ongoing project to create a portrait of the time, place and community in which we live. Hawaii photographers of all ages, amateur and professional, contributed images of the faces of the inhabitants of these islands. The end result is this book curated by Craig F. Walker, Denver Post Staff Photographer and recipient of the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for photography.

Each picture in this collection represents a person, place or event that spoke to me in some way, and provided reassurance that Island Soul survives and thrives even in unlikely places.

I hope that viewing them gives you a sense of happiness and harmony, a feeling of Island Soul.

The Benefits and uses of a Baby Photo Album for Twins Twin Pictures: When a family has twins things are often combined since there are two babies. One way to help the twins maintain their own sense of self is to have a few things that are just for them. A photo book is one good way to do this. When the twins are growing up it might be helpful to have three pictures albums. If you have three albums then you can have one album dedicated to each twin, and have one album with pictures of them together. This way when the twins grow up they will be able to see pictures that are just about them and not tied to the fact that they are a twin.
