After twenty years of meditation and studying, Robert Blumetti has
complied a modern perspective on the Norse myths for anyone of
European ancestry who seeks a personal connection with the Gods of
their ancestors. He has discovered a new understanding of the death
and resurrection legend of Balder and its meaning for all people of
European ancestry in the twenty-first century. "The Book of Balder
Rising" is a religious guide on how the old myths can be a path to
a new spirituality in the present modern age. Blumetti's new
understanding of the old myths is presented as a guide for personal
and spiritual transformation.
Discover the meaning and role that the Gods can play in leading
you to the dawning of the New Age of Gimli. Blumetti explains how
the old Gods still live on within us, and how we can once again
make them a living part of our lives. This book is a must read for
all who are interested in the old pagan religions of Europe and its
a message of hope and joy for the future that will change your life
in ways that will amaze you.
Worldwide turmoil and chaos have caused many to turn to biblical
prophecy for answers only to become confused. They then turn to
those who profess to understand those prophecies and become even
more confused because of the many different opinions.
Perhaps there is something major wrong with our understanding of
the seven years we refer to as the tribulation. The seven seals,
trumpets, and vials are twenty-one separate judgments - or are
they? And they consume all seven of those years - or do they? Those
seven years are filled with wrath - or are they?
A major nuclear war could account for most of God's wrath. It is
now biblically possible to see how all of God's wrath will likely
be confined to the last year of those seven years. Previously it
was a challenge to try and fit all the many other prophesized
events into those seven years. Now: The Closer We Get, the Clear
the Vision makes it much easier.
The Bible is the best commentary for the Bible. This book 1
titled: Introducing the Pre-Seventh-Year Rapture Theory contains
about nine hundred Bible verses and partial verses to support its
conclusions with the least amount of commentary as possible for
clarity.
Prepare to be utterly amazed as the results of these studies
unveil concepts and possibilities that most of us have never
considered or even imagined.
Religions and Education in Antiquity gathers ten essays on teaching
and learning in the contexts of ancient Western religions,
including Judaism, early Christianity and Gnostic Christian
traditions. Beginning with an overview of religious education in
the ancient Near Eastern and Mediterranean worlds, editor Alex Damm
and the contributors together demonstrate the mutual influence of
religion and education on each other; the relevance of educational
traditions in addressing (for instance) historical or exegetical
issues; and the thoroughgoing importance of education to religious
life across time and space in antiquity. Highly useful to scholars
of religion, theology, classics and education, this volume affords
a state of the art study on pedagogy and learning in ancient
religious contexts.
Studies in Honor of Joseph S. Lukinsky makes a unique and welcomed
contribution to the field of Jewish Education. While the Jewish
communities from ancient times onward have made education a
priority on the communal agenda, it is only since the mid-twentieth
century that Jewish Education has developed as an academic field.
From the start of his career, Joseph S. Lukinsky has been a leader
in the development of the field, offering encouragement and
guidance to young scholars, supporting their use of qualitative
methods, and challenging them to examine the ideas of the modern
Jewish philosophers. This book comprises a collection of articles
and scholarly studies written in honor of Joseph S. Lukinsky on the
occasion of his seventieth birthday. The wide range of subjects
treated in these chapters reflects the catholicity of Professor
Lukinsky's interests. The contributors to the volume, all noted
scholars and educators, are his colleagues and former students.
They include prominent academicians from throughout the United
States and Israel. Readers of this volume will come away with an
appreciation of Lukinsky's ability to stimulate an awareness of the
potential of Jewish Education to enrich Western education as a
whole, as well as to preserve and enhance the quality of Jewish
life.

The abandonment of loyalty may be applied to many different
issues in life. Here are four abandonments of many:
The abandonment of the living God
The abandonment of marriage between husband and wife
The abandonment of raising one's children in the ways of Jesus'
Word
The abandonment of Jesus and the Holy Spirit for the American
lifestyle and culture
God's Word says in Hosea 6:4 and 6, "What shall I do with you, O
Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? For your loyalty is
like a morning cloud And like the dew which goes away early," and,
"For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, And in the
knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings" (NASB).
God destroyed disobedient people in the Old Testament, some of
whom were His chosen people.
Jesus says in the New Testament, in Luke 6:46, "Why do you call
Me, 'Lord, Lord, ' and do not do what I say?" (NASB). Hebrews 13:8
says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever"
(NASB).
Jesus will destroy disobedient Christians in the end. Who are
His chosen people? Do not kid yourself into thinking that because
you are a Christian, you are secure, if you are disobeying Jesus'
commands.
Who are America's creationists? What do they want? Do they truly
believe Jesus rode around on dinosaurs, as sometimes depicted?
Creationism USA reveals how common misconceptions about creationism
have led Americans into a century of unnecessary culture-war
histrionics about evolution education and creationism. Adam Laats
argues that Americans do not have deep, fundamental disagreements
about evolution - not about the actual science behind it and not in
ways that truly matter to public policy. Laats asserts that
Americans do, however, have significant disagreements about
creationism. By describing the history of creationism and its many
variations, Laats demonstrates that the real conflict about
evolution is not between creationists and evolution. The true
landscape of American creationism is far more complicated than
headlines suggest. Creationism USA digs beyond those headlines to
prove two fundamental facts about American creationism. First,
almost all Americans can be classified as creationists of one type
or another. Second, nearly all Americans (including self-identified
creationists) want their children to learn mainstream evolutionary
science. Taken together, these truths about American creationism
point to a large and productive middle ground, a widely shared
public vision of the proper relationship between schools, science,
and religion. Creationism USA both explains the current state of
America's battles over creationism and offers a nuanced yet
straight-forward prescription to solve them.
"Yin-Yang" Interplay: A Renewed Formation Program for the Catholic
Seminary in China puts the spotlight on the design of a renewed
formation program for the Catholic seminary in China. Without any
renewed formation, transformation becomes pessimistic in the
Chinese Catholic Church (CCC). Though the road marching to
spiritual transformation in China is long and winding, "Yin-Yang"
Interplay offers those who are interested in laboring in this
special vineyard vision a dream, and, more profoundly, hope.
Indeed, this hope is based on the analysis of the political and
religious background of the CCC and the data collected from
twenty-six interviewees, especially the seminarians whose sincere
sharing substantiates the author's academic research and
simultaneously opens a window to the world for understanding the
CCC. On the foundation of theory and experience, the author
suggests a renewed formation program that customizes the special
political and religious situations in China. The program integrates
traditional Confucianism, modern educational theory, and
contemporary Chinese culture in order to foster a seedbed for the
clerical formation of the CCC.
