Astrology is probably the most complex and sophisticated method of describing life that has ever been discovered or developed by human beings. The whole pattern never repeats, and yet this infinite variability is achieved with the different forms of the twelve sides of life. These twelve sides of life are what the author terms the twelve-letter alphabet of astrology. In this context she discusses the similarities of the house-sign-planet combinations, the elements and qualities, the exaltations, and the dilemmas presented by the cardinal, fixed and mutable influences. Also explored are the asteroids, fixed stars, the Vertex, and decanates and dwads. An example delineation of Billie Jean King's chart is followed by a discussion of ethical astrology.
Choosing auspicious times to act was an important branch of traditional astrology. Choices & Inceptions is the largest modern-language collection of traditional works in electional astrology to date. With a lengthy Introduction that analyzes various ethical and philosophical issues in elections, it is essential for contemporary astrologers.

George J. McCormack, (1887-1974) had a life-long interest in astrology and the weather. Inspired by the astrometeorological work of A.J. Pearce (1840-1923), McCormack meticulously tracked and recorded the weather, from before World War I, until his death more than half a century later. In 1947, after 23 years of research, he published his "key" to long-range weather forecasting, being this book. Confident of his ability, in the spring of 1947 McCormack predicted one of the most severe winters in decades, specifically forecasting the infamous snows of December 26, 1947. He was nationally famous overnight. The techniques he used are in this amazing book. With study, they will become yours. The weather bureau predicts the weather, day by day, by careful observation of current conditions. You can learn to predict based on underlying celestial factors, which can be known months, even years, in advance. In 1963, before the US Weather Bureau, and again in 1964, before the American Meteorological Society, McCormack presented his life's work. Both groups ignored him, to our great loss. Use this book, make a better choice.

Astrology for Career Success How to Analyze Career Choices and Timing Author Gayle Geffner has built a substantial astrological consulting practice specializing in career counseling. Her unique and innovative approach includes her "at least three charts method" which emphasizes the importance of finding repeated themes in the horoscope. She shares thorough case studies on four of her clients who granted permission for her to use their stories in demonstration of her methodology. Additionally, a number of public figure charts are shown to illustrate various astrological configurations. This book assumes a reader with at least an intermediate knowledge of basic astrology. Although a novice can certainly learn from this material-each case study begins with basic natal analysis-a variety of forecasting techniques and more advanced methods are also included, such as derivative houses, transits, solar and lunar returns, midpoints, solar arcs and also two examples of 90 dial work (as used in the Cosmobiology system). All case studies involve some personal issues of the clients, but are primarily pointed toward chart analysis and specifically, to the counseling experience as it relates to career choices and the timing of actions regarding career. The author demonstrates a subtle way of instilling confidence into clients with positive input, even during difficult times. This book will be helpful to readers who seek personal career satisfaction, or want to explore new career options. It is a valuable addition to the library of any practicing astrologer who is interested in counseling methods, especially as related to career choices and timing.
Charles Jayne explores the chart from an esoteric perspective in this volume that focuses on prenatal charts. It is based on his belief that each new level of more complex organization in the hierarchy of real Wholes reveals new and higher attributes of reality, and that the planets are the individual's transformers for the Cosmic Centers. In Preface to Prenatal Charts, the author explains how to derive and interpret the many Epoch charts, both Individual and Group. In all, there are forty-nine Epoch Charts that comprise the Mandala of the Soul. Charles Jayne uses the Epoch Charts to identify the stages in the Descent of the Soul to the body. Alternately solar and lunar in nature, these charts trace the development of the individual and each is linked to a key planet representative of the Epoch. A case study illustrates how to use a four-step process and the Laws of the Sun, Moon, Angles, and Sex, along with directions and progressions to find the accurate Epoch Charts.

Over the centuries astrology has been a source of help to many people. Today, Jungian depth psychology has proven to be of great value in the therapy process. In this book, Alice O. Howell has successfully merged the wisdom of both disciplines, forming a warm and symbiotic relationship between them. Presented as a series of semi-autobiographical letters to an analyst friend, the author presents her ideas with a rare combination of humor and wisdom. It is an exciting, landmark work that brings into play the insights of Carl Jung alongside those of respected astrologers such as Marc Edmund Jones and Dane Rudhyar. Why and how astrology connects to the spiritual dimension is the underlying thrust of this book in which each chapter presents insightful, thought-provoking ideas and concepts that will help the reader better understand the chart from an esoteric perspective. Specific chapters focus on each of the planets, chart symbolism, karma, causality and synchronicity, ego and self, and the meaning of the chart. About this book, reviewers wrote: ...Jungian Symbolism in Astrology has an intimate and personal flavor that makes it an extraordinary pleasure to read. Richard Nolle, Dell Horoscope ...it can be enjoyed and understood by anyone with an interest in either Jung, astrology, or both. Kenneth Irving, American Astrology

Among them, delineations for the Ruler of the Ascendant (aka chart ruler), including by sign and house. More broadly, he delineates each of the planets through the twelve houses in order to turn it about and delineate the rulers of those houses, based on the nature of the houses themselves: Finance (2), Travel (3), Environment (5), Enterprise (5), Sickness (6), Marriage and marriage prospects (7), Legacies (8), Philosophy (9), Profession (10), Friends (11), and the Occult (12). What do these houses in your chart say about you? Peek inside and find out Based on his lifetime's study, Leo gives succinct chart summaries. Using her background as a psychotherapist and astrologer, Gisele Terry has combined the developmental theories of psychology and astrology to create the lunar return model of development. This model of development focuses on the natal Moon, the progressed Moon, and the cycles of the progressed Moon through the zodiac. "I began to see the progressed Moon as an indicator of a client's here and now emotional focus," said Gisele. "Thus the position of the progressed Moon, its sign and placement in the chart, became a starting point and provided additional access to the meaning of the charts." The Progressed Moon Around the Zodiac is divided into three sections, each of which guides you progressively through the lunar return model of development and its practical uses in chart reading: The first explains how ideas about development in astrology correspond with psychological theories of development and form the foundation of the lunar return model of development. The second describes this model in detail and uses case examples. The third illustrates the application of the lunar return model of development in clients' natal and progressed charts, and also presents the possibility of a universal template for human development.
