Exeter, Leicester and Wroxeter; and Hadrianic stimulation -
Caerwent, Carmarthen, Brough-on-Humber and Aldborough. The
introductory chapters address the general questions of definition
and urbanization, while the concluding chapter examines the reasons
for the decay and final demise.
