book explores the interpretation stage of critical discourse
analysis (CDA) for students in areas such as English language,
media studies and applied linguistics, as well as practitioners in

elements from four contemporary cognitive frameworks:
connectionism, cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistic evidence on
