The research projects presented in this book are the most recent
studies of intelligence. They will improve our understanding of the
human's ability to learn, understand or deal with new or trying
situations and how people apply knowledge to manipulate one's
environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective
criteria (as tests). Understanding intelligence is important
because it improves our understanding of how the brain works and
could potentially be a gateway to improving education on all levels
from individual teaching methods to widely used curriculums.
