Viscosity, has a thick consistency for traditional art techniques using
brushes or knives, as well as for experimental, mixed media, collage

Sofft Tools Knives were specifically developed for use with PanPastel, but can also be used with soft pastel sticks, pencils and most water-based art and craft materials. When used with Sofft Covers, these inexpensive tools function like a cross between a brush and a knife. Sofft Covers are made with a unique semi-absorbent micropore sponge material. The covers can be washed and re-used multiple times (depending on surface and colour used). The heads are shaped like brush heads. Knives can also be use without Sofft Covers as traditional painting knives.
Each ergonomically designed knife fits in the hand for ease of use and good control. Sofft Knives are made of a flexible, durable plastic, with handles that are shaped like traditional wooden handled knives for maximum comfort

Not quite a brush. Not quite a palette knife. Catalyst tools are
crafted from flexible silicone to allow artists a new form of
expression. Catalyst Blades are mounted on artist brush handles
offering a blend of tradition and innovation. Designed for use with
heavy-bodied paints, Catalyst is at home with oils, acrylics, and
water-miscible oils. Because they are heat-resistant, they excel
with encaustics. Artists are using them with plaster, clay, and
even frosting. Made of FDA-approved silicone, Catalyst Blades are
even great for food crafting. Clean-up is a breeze, the silicone is
easy to wipe clean and is solvent resistant. Clean up in most cases
can be done with mild soap and water. Catalyst blades can even be
separated from their wood handles for cleaning and easily replaced
when dry. Dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface.
Mini-Blades - Catalyst Mini-Blades are indispensable in your
creative workow. Like their larger counterparts, Catalyst Blades,
Mini-Blades can be separated from their shorter handles for more
thorough cleaning. Size: 1 Length: 48mm Width: 37mm

Only the purest pigments and the highest grades are used in Artists' Acrylics, formulated individually to ensure the cleanest, most brilliant colours. Winsor & Newton have developed a new unique binder that is translucent when wet and dries clear. It is this that ensures there is virtually no shift in colour at all and colours remain as brilliant when dry as they are when wet.
Artists' Acrylic offers the smooth, thick, short, buttery consistency preferred by most acrylic artists, with no stringiness. This juicy and painterly colour enables paints to be blended more easily and mixed with mediums or even water for water colour techniques. Whilst maintaining individual pigment characteristics these paints have achieved a uniform buttery consistency across the range, making it easier for the artist to handle during painting. These colours retain brushstrokes and the profile of the paint for excellent impasto effects. They also dilute gradually as water or medium is added, giving artists the maximum control over their paint.
