Sofft Art Sponges are specially formulated for art applications. Each sponge has a unique shape and size, designed specifically for artists and crafters. Every sponge shape is created to replicate a different brush head to allow a wide range of mark making. Different effects can be achieved with each sponge, for example, by using the sides and edges. Finished effects differ from those achieved by brushes as the brush stroke is eliminated. Sofft Sponges enable a more direct connection with the working surface, making it easier to control and predict the final marks achieved.

Sofft Art Sponges are made with a unique semi-absorbent micropore sponge material. The foam holds and releases just the right amount of colour. The sponges are non-abrasive for a smooth, uniform result.

Sofft Tools were specifically developed for use with PanPastel, but can also be used with soft pastel sticks, pencils and most water-based art and craft materials. Sofft Sponges are ideal for applying, blocking, blending, manipulating, layering, and sponging out colours.
