The use of astrodynes takes much of the guesswork out of chart
interpretation by mathematically determining the relative power in
a horoscope. Simply put, astrodynes allow a greater precision in
birth chart interpretation. Previously, the chart ruler was
considered to be the ruler of the Ascendant. Now, the strongest
planets, signs, and houses can easily be determined, leading to
more accurate assessment of vocation, temperament, and
compatibility. The level of harmony or discord will indicate the
fortune that can be attracted by each factor. There is a difference
between power, which is a potential for action, and harmony, which
is the effect of the action. The amount of strength in the chart
will show how insistent are the desires, or specific areas of life.
Whether they express in harmony or with difficulty has little to do
with the amount of power they have. There- fore, the first step in
a better understanding of how to use astrodynes in a birth chart is
to understand what power is in a chart, what harmony is, and the
difference between the two. The author explains these differences
and focuses on the interpretation of astrodynes, including
specifics about each planet, house and aspect.

"Inside Star Vision" is a landmark astrology book for the
twenty-first century and centuries to come. It views human destiny
and the life and death travels of individual souls as part of the
larger journey undertaken by the universe itself in various modes
of being and intelligence. Lonsdale not only leads us through
signs, houses, and planets, but also interprets them in the context
of broader archetypes and vision quests. He delineates the years
2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006, and in a daring and
profound act of spiritual writing, he sets the cosmic terms for the
imminent transformation of humanity through an opening of the door
between the two most separated realms of all, life and death.
The Planetary Hours are an ancient astrological system for
selecting favorable times to act (and avoiding unfavorable times),
by assigning planetary rulers to the twenty-four hours of the day.
This book has easy-to-follow instructions for finding your birthday
and birth hour rulers, and clearly explains how these determine
your personality and your luck. A chapter on electional astrology
explains how to use the Planetary Hours to find lucky times to act
(to ask for money; to ask someone on a date or to marry; to go on a
journey; to begin a new business). The chapter on How to Cast
Spells gives the low-down on how to make magical spells (and
prayers) really work, using simple astrological techniques. The use
of the Firdaria, an ancient astrological prediction system which
indicates positive and negative periods during a lifetime, is
illustrated with a detailed analysis of events in the life of
Theodore Roosevelt. Complete Tables of Planetary Hours at the end
of the book allow you to find favorable times to initiate
activities for any day of the year, and for anywhere on earth from
the Equator to 58 North and South latitudes. Ideal for any level of
astrologer.

The beloved Los Angeles' astrologer with more than one million fans
shows a new generation how to use astrology as a tool for
self-discovery, success, and self-care in this revolutionary guide.
Modern astrology isn't about passively accepting our fate, it's
about action, and beloved astrologer Chani Nicholas shows you how
to bring this life-changing practice into your life and embrace
self-empowerment, intentionality, and spirituality. Gone are the
days of "on Tuesday you will meet your prince charming" horoscopes.
Instead, Nicholas is spearheading a radical new approach to
astrology. In her hip, inspirational weekly horoscopes, she doesn't
tell readers what will happen to them. Instead, she encourages her
devotees to take control-to confront themselves, their desires, and
their needs-to fulfill their potential using the power of the
stars. Written in her lyrical, cool-girl, feminist writing style,
You Were Born for This explains how knowing your star signs and
what they mean for your individual character can be revelatory.
Understanding the astrological chart can help you refine your
intentions, identify your strengths, recognize areas for growth,
become more connected to your core self, and steer you on your
spiritual path. In an era when growing numbers of people feel a
sense of meaninglessness and a desire to learn more about
themselves, You Were Born for This teaches you how to harness the
zodiac to help you become more in tune with yourself and your place
in the universe.
For centuries, astrology seemed like fate. You could roll with the
punches of the planets, but, until now, you couldn't change them.
Now there is a way to give a twist to the wheel of fate. Every year
on your birthday, you get a solar return horoscope and that affects
you for the next six months. The nice thing is that you can change
it by being in a different location on your birthday. This book
shows you how. Bob Marks has been a professional astrologer since
1971. He is the producer and host of the cable show, Astrology Now,
which started in 1979 and is the longest running astrology show on
television.

Rabbi Avraham Ben Meir Ibn Ezra (1089-1164) was a renowned Jewish
scholar, whose accomplishments and prolific writing encompassed
Biblical exegeses, Hebrew grammar, personal, national and
liturgical poetry, philosophy, mathematics, geometry, astronomy and
Astrology. In mainstream Judaism he is known and loved to this day
mainly for his Bible commentary and his poetry, whereas to the
Christian European world he was introduced through his astrological
and scientific works. The Book of Nativities (Sefer Ha'Moladot) is
Meira Epstein's third publication in the series of English
translations of Avraham Ibn Ezra's astrological works. The other
two are The Beginning of Wisdom (Reshit Hokhma), 1998, and The Book
of Reasons (Sefer Ha'Te'amim), 1994. Together, these three, written
by Ibn Ezra in this sequence, make one integral body of the
astrological doctrine: Introduction of the fundamentals, further
theoretical explanations, the application to the individual birth
chart and prognosis work. Moladot is a prime example of Ibn Ezra's
approach to astrology, in which he combines his Jewish religious
beliefs and his philosophical principles with down-to-earth
astrological doctrine and techniques.
