A documentary following the acclaimed pianist on his 1957 trip to the Soviet Union. Featuring music by Bach, Berg, Webern and Shostakovich amongst others, the film includes previously unheard performances of Gould's concerts in Moscow and Leningrad, when, at the age of 24, he became the first North American to perform behind the Iron Curtain.

With an ensemble comprising 170 musicians, Ingo Metzmacher leads the Wiener Philharmoniker in this production of Bernd Alois Zimmerman's rarely performed opera, staged at the Salzburg Festival in 2012. The cast of 50 soloists includes Laura Aikin, Alfred Muff, Tanja Ariane Baumgartner and Tomasz Konieczny.

Latvian soprano Kristine Opolais takes the lead role in Dvorak's opera about a water nymph who becomes a human being in order to find love. Recorded at the Bavarian State Opera in 2010, the production also features Klaus Florian Vogt, Nadia Krasteva, Günther Groissböck and Janina Baechle. The conductor is Tomas Hanus.
