American organist Gary Verkade plays all of John Cage's works for organ: 'The Harmony of Maine', 'Souvenir', 'ASLSP', and 'Organ2/ASLSP'. Also included is a bonus performance of the composition '4'33'.

A collection of operas recorded live at the Vienna State Opera. Riccardo Muti is the conductor for a 1999 performance of Mozart's 'Don Giovanni', with a cast including Franz-Joseph Selig, Michael Schade, Adrianne Pieczonka, Carlos Álvarez, Angelika Kirchschlager, Anna Caterina Antonacci and Lorenzo Regazzo. Thomas Hampson, Christina Gallardo-Domas and Ferruccio Furlanetto head the cast of Verdi's opera 'Simon Boccanegra', recorded in 2002 with Daniele Gatti conducting. Finally, Philippe Jordan is the conductor for a 2005 performance of Massenet's opera 'Werther', featuring Marcelo Álvarez, Elina Garanca, Adrian Eröd and Ileana Tonca.

A revival of Giuseppe Scarlatti's spritely comic Baroque opera, recorded at the authentically restored Castle Theatre in Ceský Krumlov where it was first performed in 1768. Voytech Spurný leads the period-instruments of the Schwarzenberg Court Orchestra, with performances by Lenka Máciková, Ales Briscein, Katerina Knezíková and Jaroslav Brezina.

In a series of live recordings made between 1983-1984 in Austria, Daniel Barenboim performs Beethoven's Piano Sonatas Nos. 14-21.
