A premiere recording of Rossini's opera, performed live at the Rossini Opera Festival, Pesaro in 2011. Transposing the tale of 'Moses in Egypt' to modern times, the production features vocalists Alex Esposito as Faraone, Sonia Ganassi as Elcia, and Dmitry Korchak as the Pharaoh's son, while bass Riccardo Zanellato makes his Rossini Festival debut as Moses. The Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro Comunale di Bologna are conducted by Claudio Abbado.

The world premiere of John Tavener's Fall and Resurrection, filmed in London's St. Paul's Cathedral. This performance was dedicated to and performed in the presence of Charles, Prince of Whales. This 65 minute concert, conducted by Richard Hickox, includes a 15 minute interview with Tavener. Ludovic Tézier plays the lead role as Count Almaviva with Barbara Frittoli as Countess Rosina, Ekaterina Siurina as Susanna, Luca Pisaroni as Figaro and Karine Deshayes as Cherubino.
