The arrival of a stray pelican in Lighthouse Bay starts a chain of
events that leads Dilo the dolphin into a series of gripping
adventures.
A litter of puppies was born in a puppy farm. All the beautiful
puppies sold, leaving one puppy that was too ugly to sell. His ears
were different lengths and his tail was too long. Follow his
adventures from puppy farm to street dog and meet his friends,
Ponytail Pete, Georgie Dreadlocks and Lily Lovecuddle. The story
illustrates the problems with living on the streets, for animals
and mankind. Help comes in many forms for Tin-pot, especially at
the rehoming centre where he receives such vital care and
attention. The people at the rehoming centre try their very best,
but will they find him a happy home? This is an ideal book for
reluctant readers, as the illustrations inspire the child to read
through this exciting tale.

Wales. Arvor is also a little clumsy and quite small compared to
the other dragons so they don't want him on their team when they

like stay out of trouble. It's just that sometimes he's in the
wrong place at the right time...Join Arvor and his friends Will,
Percy and Cedric on their adventures at Caderbrith, the boarding

The Shop of Magical Things is a lovely little book all about a
mystery shop that is looked after by Pat and her pet mice, and some
of the occupants who live there. That is not the magical part of
the shop, though - a fairy named Clare lives in the Shop of Magical
Things and when it closes, she sprinkles magic glitter on the
occupants and they come to life. You will meet characters such as
Pip, who is sad when he arrives at the shop but when Clare
sprinkles him with her glitter he instantly cheers up and starts to
sing and dance. Mollie, the Bear is very brave and loves the smell
of honey, but she has never tasted it because she is a toy bear.
When she is sprinkled with the glitter, she can also taste the
lovely treat. Amy, the Dustpan Dolly is old and broken, Pat gives
her some new straw and she is good as new. When Clare sprinkles her
with the glitter she instantly becomes busy and rushes around the
shop collecting all of the crumbs on the way. And the star
attraction is Tommy, the pencil who draws beautiful rainbows on
every book in the shop. Pat and the mice are amazed by all of the
magic that happens at the shop and you will be too. Come along and
meet all of these wonderful characters in the Shop of Magical
Things and find out what happens to them next.
