Aber die eigentliche Holzverkohlungs- industrie ist in erster Linie eine Industrie der Laubholzverkohlung. Dem- entsprechend beschiiftigen sich auch die tiber Holzdestillation handelnden Werke fast ausschliefilich mit der Verarbeitung von Laubholzern und deren Destillationsprodukten. Will man Aufschltisse tiber die Destillation von Nadelholz oder tiber Nadelholzprodukte haben, so versagen sie ohne Ausnahme. Bedenkt man nun aber, dati im Vergleiche zum Laubholze der 'Vuchs und Verbrauch an Nadelholzern ein betrachtlich grotierer ist - die mit NadelhOlzern bestandenen WaldfHichen machen in fast allen Landern etwa das Doppelte der mit Laubholz bewachsenen aus -, so ist auch von vornherein klar, dafi, wo die Frage der Nutzbarmachung von Holz- aMmen - ganz gleich, ob industrieller oder waldwirtschaftlicher Her- kunft - an einen herantritt, man es hauptsachlich und in den weitaus meisten Fallen allein mit Nadelholzabfallen zu tun hat.
