Jesus disciples followed His example of making healing commands, as recorded in Acts 3:6 in the healing of the lame man: Then Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.' Verse 7 proclaims, And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. The Scriptures go on to report that the healed man began walking and leaping, and praising God! Notice also that when the people put their FAITH INTO ACTION whether by stretching out their hand, or taking up their bed and walking, or rising up and walking they were healed!"
