A photography book about Seattle Street Art in the 1990"s at the
Vogue nightclub on 1st Ave in Downtown Seattle. An historic scene
and awesome art
The photographs in this book have been taken over many years in
places throughout the world. They have all been included because
they suggest that they would form the basis for a painting or
drawing. Sometimes it is a question of pointing the camera in the
right direction, occasionally it is luck but more often the
artistic eye will spot something of merit. Many have been collected
from the urban environment and can be classed as graffiti. Other
photographs are from the natural world. Art is all around us but
many artists reach a point where good ideas are hard to come by and
inspiration is not forthcoming. Some photographs, or bits of images
that have been cropped, spark off an idea and can inspire a drawing
or painting. There is no order to these images, the book is
designed to flip through as a design source. All these images are
free to use and develop as the artist wishes, it is only the photo
itself that is copyright. If you are stuck for ideas then this book
will give you inspiration
Drunk on Power, Again? It's only Common Sense After 20 years in AA,
author Benny Phisheraree presents 99 more 'Ideas to Ponder' about
the current state of leadership and how power has an intoxicating
effect creating consequences that affect followers.
Clarion Alley stands as one of the most beautiful, revolutionary,
stimulating and ever-changing public art exhibits in California.
This book takes you on a journey from one end of the galley to the
other, focusing on the murals, the changing landscape and the
emerging visions. Next to visiting the Mission District on a sunny
California day, this is the best way to see Clarion Alley.
