Nachdem bereits nachgewiesen worden war, dass bei der Verfeuerung von un gereinigtem Gichtgas ein Schmelzprodukt anfallt, das durch eine geeignete Nachbehandlung in ein reduzierbares, hochofeneinsatzfahiges Produkt um gewandelt werden kann 2], sollte im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit die Moglichkeit einer Entzinkung von Gichtstaub im Schmelzzyklon untersucht werden. Zu diesem Zweck wurden die Untersuchungen, die sich bisher nur mit dem Einschmelzen von Grobstaub befasst hatten, auf das Gebiet des Einsehrnd zens von Feinstaub ausgedehnt. Der aus der Sackfilteranlage stammende Fein staub ist der Haupttrager des im gesamten Gichtstaub enthaltenen Zinkoxids. Der Feinstaub wurde in einer Menge von 200 bis 300 gJNm3 dem Gichtgas zu gesetzt und im Schmelzzyklon eingeschmolzen. Gichtgas und Verbrennungsluft wurden rekuperativ auf ca. 500 bzw. 600 C, gemessen vor Eintritt in den Ver brennungsraum, vorgewarmt. Die bei der Verbrennung im Schmelzzyklon ent stehende Warme wurde in Form von Dampf wirtschaftlich weiterverwendet. Das flussig ablaufende Schmelzgut konnte durch eine geeignete Nachbehandlung in ein hochofeneinsatzfahiges Produkt umgewandelt werden. Der mit dem Kesselabgas ausgetragene Abgasstaub wurde aus einem Teilgasstrom im E-Filter entstaubt. Der hierbei anfallende E-Filterstaub stellt mit seinen hohen Gehalten an ZnO und PbO ein den Zinkhutten verkaufliches Produkt dar. Es ist somit moglich, den im Schmelzzyklon eingebrachten Gichtstaub durch den Schmelzprozess in ein hocheisenhaltiges, hochofeneinsatzfahiges Produkt ohne nennenswerte ZnO und PbO-Gehalte umzuwandeln und gleichzeitig ein verkaufsfahiges Abgas staubprodukt mit geringem Eisengehalt aber hohen Gehalten an ZnO und PbO zu erhalten. Gleichzeitig werden bei diesem Verfahren die zyanhaltigen Ver bindungen des Feinstaubes in fur das Grundwasser unschadliche Produkte um gewandelt."
