Alkali refined linseed oil, low acid and pale in colour. Increases gloss, thins paint and slows drying time. Add to painting mediums to increase 'fat'.
It is is advised to store Jackson's Oil Medium at a stable temperature. Storage in an overly hot or cold environment will affect the consistency of the product.
Clean brushes with White Spirit.
Artists' Oil Painting Medium is a drying medium for artists oil colour. It increases gloss and transparency, while accelerating drying time.
Diluted with distilled water, PVA size is a contemporary size for fabric support. Conservation scientists recommend painters use neutral pH PVA size on linen and canvas instead of rabbit skin glue. PVA provides a good size layer that seals the fabric but does not re-absorb atmospheric moisture, swell and shrink like rabbit skin glue does. There are hundreds of different formulae of PVA. We acknowledge and appreciate the research of the Canadian Conservation Institute that helps painters and conservators identify the best PVA to use. Gamblin PVA Size is made from PVA that has a neutral pH and does not yellow. It also retains its flexibility and does not emit harmful volatiles.

This reliable favourite is a general purpose semi-gloss medium
which speeds drying, improves flow and reduces brush stroke
retention. Halves the drying time of conventional oil colour (touch
dry in 1-6 days depending on colour & film thickness). Resists
yellowing. Not suitable as a varnish or final coat. pdf=liqor.pdf

Dalas Artists' linseed Oil is a diluent for artists' oil colourIt is a carrier oil for the alteration of the paints consistency. It enhances the paints transparency, flow and gloss while speeding up the drying time.

Dala Marble Dust is a white powder product that can be added to paint
to thicken it, improving the opacity, texture and hiding power of the
paint. It is very opaque, and will affect the colour of the medium it
is mixed into, making colours more pastel.
Gamblin Oil Painting Ground makes a strong, bright, non-absorbent foundation for oil paintings. Formulated from alkyd resin, titanium dioxide, and barium sulfate, Gamblin Ground makes canvas and linen stiffer than acrylic 'gesso' and more flexible than traditional oil primers. Barium sulfate gives Gamblin Ground its tooth. Titanium dioxide gives Gamblin Ground its opacity.
Because the percentage of pigments is so much higher than in acrylic 'gesso', painters need only apply TWO coats of Gamblin Ground instead of the recommended four coats of acrylic. More coats can be added for smoother painting surfaces. Because alkyd resin is used instead of linseed oil as the binder, Gamblin Ground is more flexible and dries more quickly than lead/linseed oil grounds. Lead/linseed oil grounds must dry for six months and Gamblin Ground is ready for paint application within a week

Reduces the consistency of oil colour and slows down drying time. In its raw state, it gives colour a high gloss. Diluted 50/50 with turpentine or low-odour thinners, it creates an excellent medium for most types of painting.
This product dramatically speeds up the drying time for oil paint and is ideal for use when working on a wet-on-wet painting. This product helps to ‘wet’ or thin the oil paint for a smoother ink like consistency.
Jackson’s Wet-In-Wet Fast-Dry Oil Painting Medium creates an even paint film without dry spots. It thins paint without making it brittle and allows paint to be moved without the colour becoming muddy. Wet-in-Wet medium gives a slightly glossy finish to a dry painting.
It is advised to store Jackson's Oil Medium at a stable temperature. Storage in an overly hot or cold environment will affect the consistency of the product.
Available in 2 sizes: 250ml and 500ml
Jackson's Wet in Wet Oil Paint Medium should be quite a fluid medium.
Maintenance of Alkyd Mediums - Like all alkyd-based mediums, the introduction of air space in the bottle allows for solvent evaporation and drying - even with the lid closed. To compensate, add a little solvent of your choice to the bottle immediately after use and shake it well to maintain the desired thickness of the medium. We tested a variety of types of solvent and they all worked.
Rescuing Thickened Alkyd Medium - If your painting medium has thickened but is still fluid, add in a small amount of solvent and shake thoroughly. Continue adding more solvent and shaking until the medium is close to its original consistency. If a fluid alkyd painting medium has thickened to a gelled consistency, it will no longer help to add solvent - unfortunately it cannot be rescued.

An ideal all-purpose painting medium made of Linseed Stand Oil, White Spirit and Oil of Spike Lavender, which dries to a tough elastic film. Easy to handle, it’s a perfect oil painting medium for beginners, and creates an excellent glaze.
Alkali refined linseed oil is a pale oil extracted from the seeds
of the flax plant. It is used in many of Michael Harding's paints
because it produces the strongest paint film during the drying
process and ensures the longevity of each painting. When mixed with
oil paint, linseed oil will increase the gloss and transparency of
the paint, and will thin the paint so that it flows more easily and
does not hold brushmarks. It will also slow the drying time of the
paint. Linseed oil is also highly suitable for use with dry ground
pigments. Please note soft materials which have absorbed linseed oil
should be stored in sealed containers, as the oil will oxidise when
exposed to the air. This chemical reaction releases so much heat
that the rags may spontaneously combust. Make sure the lid of the
container is closed securely and store in a cool place. Brushes and
tools used with linseed oil should be cleaned with white spirit.
Artist Blending & Glazing Medium slows drying & improves flow. It is ideal for blending, glazing, stroke work, antiquing and staining.
Slightly thinner than Liquin or other Alkyd gel mediums, it increases the transparency and flow of oil colour, allowing paint to be brushed out more smoothly. Alkyd flow medium reduces drying time.
A clear oil medium to mix with and reduce light colours. Less inclined to yellow than Linseed Oil, but slower drying. Enhances gloss and flow, but too high a proportion prevents the colour from thorough drying.
A volatile, flammable diluent suitable for thinning oil colours and cleaning brushes. Suitable for oil & alkyd colour. Slightly slower drying than turpentine. Does not deteriorate on storage.
