Alkali refined linseed oil, low acid and pale in colour. Increases gloss, thins paint and slows drying time. Add to painting mediums to increase 'fat'.
High quality, slightly yellow oil made in the USA. Extracted without the use of heat. Increases gloss and transparency and reduces brushmarks. Highly recommended for grinding pigments.
Pale coloured alkali refined oil with little tendency to yellow. Favoured for use with whites and blues. Longer drying time than linseed oil.
Paler, more viscous oil than refined linseed oil. Slows drying. Gives tough elastic finish. Mix with turps or white spirit to help colour flow and reduce brushmarks.
Ideal for thin glazes, fine detail and smooth brush work. Mix with oil colour to increase translucency & flow.
This product is made up of a blend of resins: stand linseed oil, damar resin, turpentine cobalt driers. Jackson's Glaze Medium has a slower drying than the Jackson's Fast Drying Medium.

Composition: Vegetable oils and thickening agents. Purpose: Increasing the transparency, while retaining the viscosity.Qualities:• Increases the transparency• Degree of gloss is retained • No influence on drying time of the paint• Increases the durability of the paint film• Can be thinned with water• Yellows slightly A great video from Cobra that explains the different uses for the three painting mediums and how they can help you mainain the 'fat-over-lean' principle: youtube=pMz5vuG0FhI
Free flowing slightly thixotropic medium with an alkyd based. This medium will not increase gloss when added to oil colours. Fast drying and non-yellowing. Use this medium to thin oil paint. Stir before use.
Composition: Vegetable oils, synthetic resins and water. Purpose: Increasing the flow and/or transparency, makes the paint fatter.Qualities:• Makes the brush stroke run slightly • Increases the gloss and transparency • No influence on drying time of the paint• Increases the durability of the paint film• Can be thinned with water•Yellows slightlyA great video from Cobra that explains the different uses for the three painting mediums and how they can help you maintain the 'fat-over-lean' principle: youtube=pMz5vuG0FhIpdf=CobraGlazingMediumSDS.pdf Safety Data Sheet for Cobra Glazing Medium.
