For inking: Place one lip of the bench hook over the edge of your desk or table and roll ink out in preparation for inking up a plate or block. For cutting: Place one lip of the bench hook over the edge of your desk or table and set a linoleum or wood block up against the other lip and use the lip as a stop when carving and cutting. Lino Bench hook has holes to switch the side bar over to accomodate left-hand usage.

These grey sheets / blocks of lino are especially made for "linocut" relief printmaking. They are 3.2mm thick, have a fabric backing, and are available in a range of sizes and packs. The surface of the lino is cut away using special lino cutters or a knife to form the basis of the lino print. The block is inked up with a roller (known as a brayer) and this creates a positive image when printed onto paper or fabric. The printing process can be done by hand or with a press. You can use water-based lino ink, oil-based lino ink, or a block printing medium mixed with paint.

Well engineered portable presses from Italy with solid steel rollers and 3mm thick metal bed. Lifting up the top roller is for relief printing only, you will not be able to print anything but thinner intaglio plates on this press, optimally up to 1mm metal with a decent bevel on or thinner 0.8mm plates like our economy zinc or transparent printing plates. The Fome presses work well for line etching, drypoint, monoprint and relief.It must be stressed that these small press will not print with the same pressure as a larger heavier studio press. If you have designed your prints with your plates, inks, paper using a large heavy press, you will not necessarily be able to reproduce them on these small presses. Oval shaped needle made of high carbon tool steel. and made to be resharpen. These etching needles are set in a wooden handle the steel shaft being oval in shape and chopped at an angle to give an oval profile. As you move the tool through the ground you can rotate the shaft and change the thickness of line. It can create lines that swell and contract.
