These are best selling rollers used by education authorities worldwide and available in a variety of sizes. Manufactured from durable synthetic rubber and with a perfectly concentric machine-ground roller surface. These popular rollers come with self-lubricating nylon bearings, robust construction, polypropylene handle with hanging slot, aluminium core and continuous steel shaft. Can be used with water and oil based inks and for a variety of purposes other than lino printing. Simply turn over the wet roller and the handle doubles as a stand for cleaner working.

Well engineered portable presses from Italy with solid steel rollers and 3mm thick metal bed. Lifting up the top roller is for relief printing only, you will not be able to print anything but thinner intaglio plates on this press, optimally up to 1mm metal with a decent bevel on or thinner 0.8mm plates like our economy zinc or transparent printing plates. The Fome presses work well for line etching, drypoint, monoprint and relief.

It must be stressed that these small press will not print with the same pressure as a larger heavier studio press. If you have designed your prints with your plates, inks, paper using a large heavy press, you will not necessarily be able to reproduce them on these small presses. Putting too much pressure on the presses can damage them.

Permaset print paste (reducer) is an uncoloured base for achieving a more transparent shade - designed for use with Permaset Aqua water-based screenprinting inks.

Liquid Extender is used to thin Akua Liquid Pigment if it has become too thick - for instance, it will re-constitute “air thickened” ink. Can be used with Akua Liquid Pigment but not with Akua Intaglio Ink. It - has a thick consistency and is transparent in colour. - Adding water to Akua Liquid Pigment Inks is not advisable as water will cause ink to dry on the monotype plate and prevent it from releasing onto dry paper. Use the Extender directly with the colours on the palette that have become too thick. It can also be added to Akua Liquid Pigment to dilute it and create more transparency without having an effect on the consistency.

This heavyweight roller is perfectly smooth allowing for a greater quantity of ink to be held and in doing so also means a greater amount of coverage.  A wet roller can simply be turned over and the handle doubles as a stand for cleaner working. Made from a hand-ground concentric EPDM rubber surface, which means it is flexible yet resistant to weathering. The EDPM rubber is of medium hardness and gives excellent pickup and deposit of all types of ink. This tool is the choice for the artisan printmaker with good recovery to indentation, and resistance to common printing chemicals. Perfect for printmaking, wood engraving and woodcut.

These grey sheets / blocks of lino are especially made for "linocut" relief printmaking. They are 3.2mm thick, have a fabric backing, and are available in a range of sizes and packs. The surface of the lino is cut away using special lino cutters or a knife to form the basis of the lino print. The block is inked up with a roller (known as a brayer) and this creates a positive image when printed onto paper or fabric. The printing process can be done by hand or with a press. You can use water-based lino ink, oil-based lino ink, or a block printing medium mixed with paint.

Jackson's Polished Copper Etching Plate, made with 0.9mm polished
copper plate for etching. The polished surface is protected with a
plastic film so simply requires degreasing before applying ground.The
back of the plate will require the application of an acid resistant
stop out. Copper is a harder metal than zinc and plates will withstand
more printing. It is also idealy suited to non-etching intaglio
techniques such as drypoint and engraving and mezzotint.
