pizzas and Italian breads. You can enjoy all the most popular
Italian pizzas, including tried and tested recipes for Pizza
Margarita, Neapolitan and Quattro Stagioni. It includes recipes

and rosemary, and roasted vegetable and goat cheese. How to make
all kinds of pizza bases, from the traditional crispy base to quick
and easy scone mixes, plus spicy oils and tomato sauce. It includes

beginnings as a snack sold on the street of Naples, the pizza is
one of our most popular and versatile foods, eaten in restaurants
and homes all over the world. Loved by adults and children alike,
pizzas are widely available fresh or frozen, but even the best
ready-made pizzas from the supermarket will not equal fresh pizzas
made at home. This book uses ingredients such as chargrilled
peppers, roast garlic, caramelized onions, smoked chicken and
grilled goat's cheese to make mouthwatering pizzas. The pizzas come
in all shapes and sizes, from a hearty farmhouse pizza to delicate
individual spinach and ricotta calzones, and red onion, Gorgonzola
and thyme pizzettes. Most of the recipes can be adapted to become
even quicker and easier by using ready-made bases. Whether you are
already a confirmed pizza maker, or an eager beginner, this book
holds all you need to know.

Chef Claire Tritschler of Le Sens de la Terre restaurant in the
French town of Piegut-Pluviers shares her culinary knowledge in 50
simple and tasty recipes designed for standard ingredients and home
kitchens. The idea that became the book started with a phone call.
The date was March 16, 2020. Chef Claire answered with her usual
cheery "Le Sens de la Terre, bonjour!" "Is it true?" said the
anxious voice at the other end of the line. "You're closed
indefinitely? I have a reservation for today..." "Cancelled I'm
afraid," said Claire. "Really sorry - it's a big a shock to us
too." "But what am I going to eat?" "Well, what do you have in your
cupboards - potatoes, eggs, some vegetables perhaps? You can make a
meal with just a few ingredients. I'll put a few ideas on our
Facebook page." And that's how Claire's cookbook, titled 'C'est
quoi sur l'ardoise?', got under way. Daily, through eight weeks of
self-isolating, there was a new recipe on Facebook from Claire and
her front-of-house partner, Leo, complete with colourful photos of
the key stages of preparation, plus the end result. Their 112-page
cookbook was a logical development and has proved popular with
clients of Le Sens de la Terre. Said Claire: "You don't need
complicated technique or a professional kitchen to make good food.
I think people like the fact that these are simple recipes anyone
can follow."
The ultimate collection of recipes to make real food, real
fast--with hundreds of ways to cook smarter, not harder. The
Kitchen Shortcut Bible is for all of us who love to cook, but never
seem to have enough time. Rather than a book of way-too-clever
hacks, this is a collection of more than 200 ingenious recipes that
supercharge your time in the kitchen without sacrificing high
quality or fresh flavor. Bruce Weinstein and Mark Scarbrough come
to this, their definitive guide to shortcut cooking, after
twenty-nine cookbooks and decades of experience in the kitchen. Not
only do they know about putting great meals on the table, they also
know that most people's nightly question isn't "what's for dinner,"
but "what's for dinner in the next half hour?" They've got risotto
in minutes, no-fry chicken parm, and melted ice cream pound cake.
But these recipes aren't merely "semi-homemade." They've also got
slow cooker confits, no-boil stuffed cabbage, and a fine holiday
turkey straight out of the freezer, as well as new ways to think
about sheet pan suppers, Asian noodle dishes without a wok, and
no-churn ice creams. And no MacGuyver-ing either! There are lots of
new ways to use the kitchen tools you already own, imparting
concrete shortcuts that save time andmake something good into
something great. When dinner is a problem to be solved, this is
your cheat sheet.
