Cinephile, Etude de films en francais elementaire is a series of
workbooks specifically developed for French language students. The
series facilitates the integration of films in language courses
while reinforcing basic vocabulary and grammar structures. By
targeting the four communicative goals; listening, speaking,
reading and writing, it serves as an excellent tool for language
learners.
Each workbook in the series features a single film and develops
the students' linguistic competencies through progressive
acquisition of vocabulary and grammar structures. The
contextualized activities are organized in increasing levels of
difficulty, beginning with highly structured activities and
progressing to open-ended communication. The wide range and variety
of activities provide great flexibility and can be easily tailored
to the needs of the students. Each workbook is thus a comprehensive
guide which serves as an indispensable tool for language
comprehension and communication.
imaginacion, placer y deber, orden y aventura, Eros y Thanatos. Su
doble estructura, lineal y circular a la vez, recrea las claves de
la antigua tragedia en la levedad de unos ninos que se niegan a ser
adultos.
The first in a series of Russian in translation volumes for Russian
Civ or Russian Literature courses. This volume contains five short
stories by young, emerging Russian writers of the post-Soviet era.
Each story is in English, with notes and commentary. Numerous
classroom activities (exercise, content questions, discussion
questions) accompany each story. A glossary of useful words for all
the stories is included as well.
Yo el Supremo, del paraguayo Roa Bastos, pertenece a las llamadas
"novelas de dictador." Obra tejida con materiales verbales de mil
fuentes, flotante en un juego maestro de intertextualidad, sostiene
la tension narrativa de la primera a la ultima pagina. Alejo
Carpentier la califico de "obra maestra."
