Another adventure for everyone's favourite time-traveller. The Doctor (Tom Baker), Romana and K9 find themselves suspected of being drug smugglers when they arrive on the Empress, a luxury liner. The Empress has become merged with another craft, the Hecate, after colliding during a hyperspace jump. Somebody on board the Empress is smuggling Vraxoin, a deadly addictive drug, and matters are complicated still further when the Mandrells, a race of monsters being transported from the planet Eden, are let loose on board the ship.

In the four-parter 'Underworld', the TARDIS lands the Doctor (Tom Baker) in a Minyan spaceship that is on a quest to find the Minyan race banks stored in a missing ship known as the P7E. They eventually find what they are looking for in a cave system at the centre of a newly-formed planet. But the P7E's computer has ideas of its own, and doesn't look kindly upon its new visitors.

After a one-night stand he doesn't remember, Julio wakes up in the apartment of Julia, who likewise can't remember what happened between them. Faced with an awkward situation already, their morning is made even worse when they realise that an alien invasion is happening outside and that much of the city has been evacuated.

Told to stay indoors while the extraterrestrial threat is dealt with, any hope of a relationship forming between the two is jeopardised with the arrival of Julia's jealous boyfriend Carlos...

Another adventure for the intrepid time traveller. While visiting a Galactic Tollport, the Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and Mel (Bonnie Langford) win a trip to Disneyland in 1959. On board the spacebus they meet Chimeron queen Delta, whose people have been wiped out by mercenary Gavrok (Don Henderson) and his men. Knocked off course by a satellite, the bus in fact delivers its passengers to the Shangri-La holiday camp in Fifties Wales, but while the Doctor becomes determined to make the most of the break - and Delta embarks on a romance with Earth mechanic Billy - Gavrok is not far behind. Watch out for a guest appearance by Ken Dodd as the Tollmaster.

The Starship Enterprise is sent to escort the Klingon chancellor to peace negotiations with the Federation. When the chancellor is assassinated, the Klingons refuse to continue negotiations unless Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and Dr McCoy (De Forrest Kelley) are tried for the chancellor's murder in a Klingon court. Kirk and McCoy are sentenced to life imprisonment in a penal colony, leaving Spock in charge of the Enterprise and the only one who can solve the riddle of the murder.

The longest 'Doctor Who' story ever. The Doctor (Colin Baker) is put on trial by his people the Time Lords for interference in the affairs of others; three segments of his past and future are presented as evidence. 'The Mysterious Planet' shows the Doctor and Peri (Nicola Bryant) in a battle with a megalomaniac machine on the planet Ravalox, but what are the mysterious 'secrets' it protects? 'Mindwarp' shows the Doctor apparently betraying Peri to the vile Sil (Nabil Shaban) and the Mentors - can the Matrix be falsifying the evidence against the Doctor? In his defence he presents 'Terror of the Vervoids', a future story where the Earth is threatened by evil plant life forms. In the final two episodes, 'The Ultimate Foe', the Doctor learns the truth about his prosecuting counsel, the Valeyard (Michael Jayston), and has to enter the Matrix to battle for his remaining lives. This was Colin Baker's last story as the Doctor.

Classic 1950s sci-fi. Philanthropic Dr Reemer (Leo G. Carroll) has developed a new radioactive serum that can make animals grow at an enormous rate, and he plans to use it to help solve the world's food shortage. But when an accident in the lab leads to the serum infecting a tarantula, the situation suddenly becomes much more serious. Escaping into the desert, the deadly giant tarantula starts hunting human prey, and it's up to square-jawed doctor Matt Hastings (John Agar) and Reemer's assistant Stephanie (Mara Corday) to track it down and destroy it.

After chasing a fugitive with an advanced alien weapon, New York cop James Edwards (Will Smith) finds himself recruited to the MiB, a top secret agency in charge of alien immigration on Earth. He is partnered with K (Tommy Lee Jones), and sent to investigate an alien prediction of the end of the world. They have to track down a hostile alien life form currently wearing the human skin of a country hick named Edgar.

Richard Jordan, Jami Gertz and Jason Petric star in this futuristic sci-fi drama. Set in a post-apocalyptic future where most of Earth's water has disappeared and the planet is ruled by the Eco Protectorate corporation, the story follows a group of teen skateboarders who are held captive in an orphanage on the desert planet. After the group's leader Grock (Jordan) discovers a magical orb, the teenagers rebel against their megalomaniac ruler and, with the help of a group of outlaws known as the Eco Warriors, try to restore water to the Earth.

Michael Shumway directs and produces this sci-fi thriller. David Madison (Blake Webb) embarks on a business trip in order to give his wife Amy (Tatum Langton) space as their marriage begins to fall apart. However, when mysterious things start happening, with planes falling out of the sky and phone lines going down, David finds himself stranded, far from home, unable to return home to his wife...
