Sci-fi action feature directed and co-written by Guillermo del Toro. Gigantic monsters known as Kaiju rise up from the Pacific Ocean and invade Earth. As they rage war, killing millions in the process, the human race defend their planet with the use of special robots called Jaegers which are controlled neurally by their pilots. However, even these magnificent machines have trouble defeating the Kaiju. With their armed forces dwindling, mankind puts its faith in ex-pilot Raleigh Becket (Charlie Hunnam) and trainee Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi). Together they must control an early Jaeger model in one last attempt to save Earth.

Still chafing at his exile to the planet Earth, the Doctor (Jon Pertwee) is called in to observe the Inferno drilling experiment of Professor Stahlman (Olaf Pooley). Stahlman's search for a new form of energy goes horribly wrong when a green slime emitted from the drill site transforms any who come into contact with it into primeval monsters. Meanwhile, after experimenting with the TARDIS console, the Doctor finds himself transported sideways in time to a parallel version of the Earth, where the Brigadier (Nicholas Courtney) is an eyepatch-wearing fascist and Stahlman's experiments threaten to destroy the world.

Gary Ross directs this sci-fi action film based on the best-selling novel by Suzanne Collins. When her younger sister Primrose (Willow Shields) is selected as a contestant, Katniss steps up to take her place in the match. Under the tutelage of inebriated former champion Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson), Katniss goes into training for the fight of her life.

When the TARDIS lands on the planet Marinus, the Doctor (William Hartnell), Ian, Barbara and Susan are captured by Arbitan, Keeper of the Conscience of Marinus. The Conscience is an all-powerful machine which controls the planet in an attempt to regulate crime, but it requires four missing crystals to complete its function. Otherwise, the machine could fall into the hands of the Voord, led by the evil Yartek. The TARDIS crew are thus charged by Arbitan with recovering the crystals before it is too late.
The Doctor (Tom Baker) and Leela investigate a series of deaths in the English countryside, and trace them to an evil influence being exerted by an eight million year old skull. The age of the skull means that dates from a time before the dawn of man. The Doctor has to prevent the manifestation of an ancient evil, the Fendahl.
An early adventure for the sixth incarnation of everyone's favourite time traveller. The Doctor (Colin Baker) and Peri arrive in 1985 London shortly after avoiding a collision with Halley's comet, lured by a galactic distress call. They discover that the city's sewers are populated by Cybermen, intent on changing history by preventing the destruction of their home planet, Mondas (see 'Doctor Who: The Tenth Planet'). It transpires that the distress call which attracted the Doctor's attention was sent by none other than former Dalek ally Commander Lytton, but just whose side is he on this time?

He finds two human survivors from a ferocious Didonian attack, and must discover the motivation behind this violence. Director Jean-Luc Godard used contemporary Parisian locations for his offbeat futuristic thriller, whilst Eddie Constantine, as the detective hero, reprises a role he had already played in a number of B-movie policiers.

'In the Flesh' sees the discovery by the crew of an exact replica of Starfleet academy on an alien world. In 'Once Upon a Time', Neelix has to look after engineer's daughter Naomi when the Delta Flyer crashes. 'Timeless' sees the course of history altered when two criminals steal the Delta Flyer and some Borg technology. In 'Infinite Regress', Seven of Nine becomes the victim of an assimilation attempt when Voyager picks up some Borg wreckage in space. 'Nothing Human' sees B'Elanna Torres' life under threat when an injured alien attaches itself to her body. In 'Thirty Days', Voyager makes contact with an underwater race whose world is evaporating. 'Counterpoint' sees the crew attempting to conceal their cargo of telepathic refugees from the Devore. In 'Latent Image', the Doctor discovers that someone has been tampering with his memory, and becomes convinced that he is the victim of a sinister conspiracy. 'Bride of Chaotica!' sees Janeway forced to assume the identity of Arachnia, Queen of the Spiders, when some Fifth Dimension aliens mistake Paris' holographic novel for reality. In 'Gravity', Tom Paris and Tuvok are trapped on a barren world for months after falling through a sinkhole in space. 'Bliss' sees the Voyager crew on the verge of entering a wormhole which will return them home when Seven of Nine decides to sabotage the attempt. In 'Dark Frontier (Part 1)' and 'Dark Frontier (Part 2)', Seven of Nine must study the journals of her parents, who were experts on the Borg, in order to obtain trans-warp technology from a crippled Borg ship. In 'The Disease', Harry Kim embarks on a passionate affair with Varro explorer Derran Tal. 'Course: Oblivion' sees Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres' holographic honeymoon cut short when Voyager's infrastructure begins to disintegrate. In 'The Fight', the crew of Voyager are forced to rely on the mental clarity of Chakotay when they become trapped in space. 'Think Tank' sees Janeway offered assistance by a shipful of brilliant alien thinkers during a conflict with Hazari bounty hunters. In 'Juggernaut', Torres leads an away team on board a Malon freighter that could explode at any moment, and learns of a mythical creature which is believed to inhabit the ship. 'Someone to Watch Over Me' sees the Doctor's attempts to teach Seven of Nine the basics of human social intercourse producing some unexpected results. '11.59' provides a flashback to the year 2000, in which Captain Janeway's ancestor, bookstore owner Henry Janeway, is the one obstacle to the building of a historic Millennium Gate. In 'Relativity', Seven of Nine is called upon by the Federation timeline guardians to travel back in time and prevent a pre-launch sabotage attempt on the U.S.S. Voyager. In 'Warhead', Harry Kim is given the opportunity to command the ship, and takes on board a sentient alien machine transmitting a distress call. It soon transpires that this act has placed the entire crew in great danger. Finally, 'Equinox Part 1' sees Voyager coming to the aid of another Starfleet vessel lost in the Delta Quadrant when it seems to be under attack from an alien vessel.
The Doctor is on a mission, travelling back to the middle ages to locate some missing scientists. He is, however, seriously inconvenienced when he meets a Sontaran warrior. Jon Pertwee stars.

'Redemption' sees Orac's prediction of the Liberator's destruction looking likely to be fulfilled when the ship's original owners arrive and take the rebels prisoner. In 'Shadow', Blake becomes involved with an interplanetary crime syndicate. 'Weapon' sees Blake and crew set out to steal a deadly 'delayed-effect' gun, which Servalan also wishes to possess. In 'Horizon', the Liberator heads for the edge of the Galaxy, only to be taken prisoner on the planet Horizon. 'Pressure Point' sees Blake attempting to destroy the Federation's control centre, only to walk into a trap set by Travis. In 'Trial', Travis is made a scapegoat by Servalan for their failure to capture Blake. 'Killer' sees Blake and his crew stumbling upon a derelict spaceship whilst on a mission to crack the Federation's new transmission code. The craft houses a deadly plague which could threaten the existence of the entire universe. In 'Hostage', Travis tries to trap Blake by kidnapping his cousin, Inga. 'Countdown' sees Blake and crew coming to the aid of the planet Albian, whose population are dying from radiation poisoning. In 'Voice from the Past', a telepathic signal forces Blake to reroute the Liberator to an asteroid where Travis lies in wait. Whilst 'Gambit' sees Blake, Cally and Jenna visit a gambling world to find the man who knows the location of the Federation's Star One. Avon and Villa, meanwhile, choose to take Orac on an illicit gambling spree. In 'The Keeper', Blake tries to obtain the key to Star One from a tribal chief on the planet Goth. However, Travis has beaten him to it. Finally, 'Star One' sees Blake at last launch his attack on the Federation's headquarters, unaware that an alien fleet is poised to invade.
The entire first season (remastered) of the 1970s BBC sci-fi series. In 'The Way Back' resistance fighter Roj Blake is found guilty of false charges and sentenced to imprisonment on Cygnus Alpha by the corrupt Federation. 'Space Fall' sees Blake and fellow prisoners Avon and Jenna escape from their prison shuttle and take possession of a mysterious spaceship, which they name the 'Liberator'. 'Cygnus Alpha' finds Blake attempting to rescue more prisoners from the planet Cygnus Alpha, which leads to him getting captured by the planet's ruler, Vargas. 'Time Squad' has Blake, Avon and Villa first ambushed, then helped, by the mysterious Cally. In 'The Web' telepathic members of Cally's race force her to lead the Liberator into a trap. 'Seek, Locate, Destroy' sees Cally taken prisoner by Blake's evil nemesis, Travis. 'Mission to Destiny' finds Blake and crew becoming involved in a murder case on board a crippled spaceship. 'Duel' has Blake and Travis forced to fight each other on an uncharted planet. In 'Project Avalon' Travis plans to use a kidnapped revolutionary leader to trap and destroy Blake. 'Breakdown' sees Gan becoming unusually aggressive when the implant in his brain malfunctions. 'Bounty' finds Blake and Cally attempting to inspire a planet's president to help his own people. 'Deliverance' has the Liberator come to the aid of a crashed spaceship, whose single dying survivor begs them to find his father, Ensor. Finally, in 'Orac', Blake and crew find Ensor and obtain his super-computer invention.
The Doctor (Patrick Troughton) and Jamie arrive at space station J7 to ask the Doctor's old friend Dastari to cease his experiments in time travel. The station is invaded, and when Doctor number 6 (Colin Baker) and Peri arrive, they find a shell-shocked Jamie claiming that the Doctor has been killed. It is in fact all part of a Sontaran plot to discover the secrets of time travel, which necessitates a trip to Seville to rescue the earlier incarnation of the Time Lord. Patrick Troughton's last appearance as the Doctor.
All 42 episodes from the first four seasons of the US sci-fi drama following the aftermath of an alien invasion. Six months previously the Earth suffered an extraterrestrial attack on a global scale, which left only ten percent of the human population alive. Now soldiers and civilians are banding together in an attempt to fight back. Former university professor Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) is made second-in-command of the Second Massachusetts and must put all his knowledge of military history to the test to aid the cause. Meanwhile, he hopes to find his 14-year-old son, Ben (Connor Jessup), who has been taken by the enemy and fitted with a 'harness', a device that enables the aliens to control children.
Research scientists Adam (Kirk Douglas) and Alex (Farrah Fawcett) enjoy an idyllic existence on a remote space station until they are joined by inventor Benson (Harvey Keitel). Determined to create a super-race of robots, Benson manufactures a prototype, Hector, who gradually develops a mind of his own - taking on some of the more unpleasant aspects of his creator's personality in the process. The arrival at the station of the psychotic Captain James proves to be a catalyst for Hector to go on the rampage: but will his developing passion for Alex help or hinder the crew? |
