Humorist Keaton Patti "forced a bot" to digest massive amounts of human media to produce these absurdly funny, "totally real," "bot-generated" scripts, essays, advertisements, and more. Ever wonder what an AI bot might come up with if tasked with creative writing? From Olive Garden commercials to White House press briefings to Game of Thrones scripts, writer and comedian Keaton Patti's "bot" recognizes and heightens the tropes of whatever it's reproducing to hilarious effect. Each "bot-generated" piece can be enjoyed as surrealist commentary on the media we consume every day or simply as silly robot jokes-either way, you'll probably end up laughing.

FROM THE PUBLISHER:
Every time Allie Brosh posts something new on her hugely popular blog Hyperbole and a Half the internet rejoices.
Touching, absurd, and darkly comic, Allie Brosh's highly anticipated book "Hyperbole and a Half "showcases her unique voice, leaping wit, and her ability to capture complex emotions with deceptively simple illustrations.
This full-color, beautifully illustrated edition features more than fifty percent new content, with ten never-before-seen essays and one wholly revised and expanded piece as well as classics from the website like, "The God of Cake," "Dogs Don't Understand Basic Concepts Like Moving," and her astonishing, "Adventures in Depression," and "Depression Part Two," which have been hailed as some of the most insightful meditations on the disease ever written.
Brosh's debut marks the launch of a major new American humorist who will surely make even the biggest scrooge or snob laugh. We dare you not to.
FROM THE AUTHOR:
This is a book I wrote. Because I wrote it, I had to figure out what to put on the back cover to explain what it is. I tried to write a long, third-person summary that would imply how great the book is and also sound vaguely authoritative--like maybe someone who isn't me wrote it--but I soon discovered that I'm not sneaky enough to pull it off convincingly. So I decided to just make a list of things that are in the book:
Pictures
Words
Stories about things that happened to me
Stories about things that happened to other people because of me
Eight billion dollars*
Stories about dogs
The secret to eternal happiness*
*These are lies. Perhaps I have underestimated my sneakiness

He turns up first as Snoopy s secretary, then gradually becomes a good friend whom Snoopy helps to fly South... but it s not until June 22, 1970 that the little bird gains a name, in a perfect salute to the decade that ends with this volume: Woodstock In other timely stories, Peppermint Patty runs afoul of her school s dress code (those sandals ), Lucy declares herself a New Feminist, and Snoopy s return to the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm on a speaking engagement climaxes in a riot and a new love found amidst the teargas ( She had the softest paws... ). Speaking of Snoopy, this volume falls under the sign of the Great Beagle, as three separate storylines focus on the mysterious sovereign of Beagledom. First Snoopy is summoned by a wrathful G.B. when Frieda submits a complaint about his (Snoopy s) desultory rabbit-chasing efforts; then, back in the Great one s good graces, Snoopy is sent on a secret mission; and finally he himself ascends (briefly ) to the mantle of Great Beagledom. In other news, an exasperated Lucy throws Schroeder s piano into the maw of the kite-eating tree, with gruesome results... Miss Othmar goes on strike and Linus gets involved... Charlie Brown s baseball team has an actual (brief) winning streak... Snoopy s quest to compete in the Oakland ice skating competition is thwarted by his inability to find a partner... Charlie Brown goes to a banquet to meet his hapless baseball hero Joe Shlabotnik... Snoopy is left in the Van Pelt family s care as Charlie and Sally Brown head out of town for a vacation... and (alas) the Little Red-Haired Girl moves away... This volume also features a new introduction by renowned illustrator Mo Willems and, as always, gorgeous design by award-winning cartoonist Seth."

Tom Gauld has created countless iconic strips for the Guardian over the course of his illustrious career. A master of condensing grand, highbrow themes into panel comics, his weekly strips embody his trademark sense of humour while simultaneously opening comics to an audience unfamiliar with the artistry that cartooning has to offer. Funny but serious, these comics allow Gauld to put his impressive knowledge of history, literature and pop culture on full display - his impeccable timing and distinctive visual style setting him apart from the rest. This postcard set celebrates more than a decade of Gauld's contributions to the Guardian, with fifty of his most beloved strips, on everything from Samuel Beckett's sitcom pitches (such as Waiting for Kramer, a show where two men await the arrival of a man named Kramer who never comes), 'Procrastination for Creative Writers, a 10-Week Course' and 'Poetry Anthologies for People Who Don't Like Poems'. Witty and beautifully drawn, The Snooty Bookshop will make you laugh at least fifty times, guaranteed.

Filipino comic artist and three-time National Book Awardee Manix Abrera, in cooperation with ABLAZE, presents "12". Twelve remarkable stories, weird and surreal, thought-provoking yet funny, sometimes disturbing, others terrifying, but nonetheless always enchanting. Twelve genuinely touching stories, all drawn in Manix's simplistic style, devoid of words, but communicate loudly and resonate wildly with your emotions. Each story presents itself in its own charm, with intriguing twists - a young man spends his entire life searching for answers but shock awaits when he finally gets that eureka moment; someone finds love that unexpectedly finds somebody else; two men argue over who goes first on an escalator; a mother and daughter fight over a cockroach; a drunk man urinates on a tree and gets a big surprise - making you wonder how these mundane plots can turn out bizarrely, prompting you to reflect and crave for more! One story reveals a mysterious horror encountered in gloomy desolate highways. Another shows how some group of scientists acquire superpowers because someone hesitated to dissect a frog. A young girl attaches her eyes to a balloon so she can look for her mother above a crowd. What is the meaning of life? Is finding happiness worth it when you lose what really matters the most? Would you even know what matters the most? Embrace pain and sorrow. Hope for love and will for hope. Manix Abrera's 12 breaks all language barriers in the world of storytelling, but cuts straight into your soul, touches your heart in several dimensions you can and cannot imagine. Allow this collection of wordless comic stories speak to you in your own voice and transport you into a whole new exciting universe, at your own pace and power.
