Glossy, big-budget live action film based on the D.C. comic character created by Bob Kane. Halle Berry stars as Patience Phillips, a talented but excrutiatingly shy graphic artist who, in a mysterious twist of fate, transforms into a woman with the stealth, power and incredible heightened senses of a cat. Sleek, agile and extremely dangerous, she begins a series of nocturnal crime sprees across the city, treading the thin line between good and bad. But things get complicated when police officer Tom Lone (Benjamin Bratt), with whom Patience has begun a tentative romance, becomes fascinated by the elusive Catwoman to a point well past the call of duty.
John Ford's adaptation of John Steinbeck's classic novel follows the traumatic journey made by the Joads, a dispossesed Oklahoma family who head towards California to begin a new life. Seeking a better future, he leaves with his mother (Jane Darwell) and the rest of the family for California. Their journey is far from easy, however, and there is no guarantee the 'promised land' will provide the life they are hoping for.

Colonel Keith Davenport (Gary Merrill) is more of a friend than a commander to his men, a US bomber crew stationed in wartime Britain. After a series of dangerous missions, the pilots are living on their nerves and when Davenport is replaced by the callous General Savage (Gregory Peck), the latter's attempts to whip the crew into shape result in a deluge of requests for transfers. Collection of six feature films from director Christopher Nolan. In 'Memento' (2000) Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) is suffering from acute short-term memory loss and is unable to remember anything for more than a few minutes at a time. This makes things very difficult when his one mission in life is to track down his wife's killer who escaped from the scene of the crime. 'Batman Begins' (2005) explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight's emergence as a force for good in Gotham. In the wake of his parents' murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. He returns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect and an array of high-tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city. In 'The Prestige' (2006) Rupert Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (Bale) are London-based magicians of the highest order, both blessed with spectacular powers of deception and both cursed with unrelenting envy for one another's skills. When Alfred performs an awe-inspiring trick for which there seems no logical explanation, the friendly competition shared between the pair turns to deadly rivalry as the enraged Rupert determines to uncover his rival's deepest secrets. 'The Dark Knight' (2008), sequel to 'Batman Begins', sees Gotham's hero squaring-up to a new kid on the block - psychotic prankster The Joker (Heath Ledger, in the role that won him a posthumous Oscar for Best Supporting Actor). In the space of a year, Batman, aided by Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) and new District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), has managed to rid Gotham's streets of the organised crime gangs that once ravaged the city. Things seem to be looking up, although on the personal front, Bruce Wayne discovers he has a rival in his affections for main squeeze Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal) in the shape of the new D.A., who, as a political climber, likes to keep his cards close to his chest. But just when the authorities think they're finally making progress in their fight against crime, the appearance on the streets of a sinister new figure, with a demented grin and a passion for chaos, causes panic among the good people of Gotham, and leads to a battle of wits between Batman and The Joker which threatens to get extremely personal. In 'Inception' (2010) Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a professional thief with a difference: the spoils he goes after are not material objects but the thoughts, dreams and secrets buried in the minds of other people. This rare talent has cost him dear, rendering him a solitary fugitive stripped of everything he ever really cared about. When he is offered a chance for redemption by reversing the process and planting an idea rather than stealing it, he and his team of specialists find themselves pitted against a dangerous enemy that appears to pre-empt their every move. Finally, 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012), the final film in Nolan's Batman trilogy, set eight years on from the events of 'The Dark Knight', sees Batman returning to save Gotham City from the evil clutches of brutal terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy) and his enigmatic sidekick, Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway). However, Batman's ability to act as an avenging angel is curtailed by the fact that he is now on Gotham City Police Department's Most Wanted list, having assumed responsibility for the crimes of deceased District Attorney Harvey Dent.
British comedy. Stephen Turnbull (Edward Hogg) has not left the house for months. When an infestation of mice wreaks havoc on his precious daily routine, he starts to relive a road trip around Europe with his best mate Bunny (Simon Farnaby). But it is superstitious waitress Eloisa (Veronica Echegui) who steals their hearts, prompting an unlikely love triangle that takes them from the industrial wastelands of Poland to the bull fields of Spain.
The crew of the Starship Enterprise come out of retirement when Earth is threatened by a massive energy field. Captain Kirk (William Shatner), now an Admiral, Spock (Leonard Nimoy), Bones (DeForest Kelley), and the rest of the television regulars are all on board for what proved to be the first of a series of movie adventures.

Steve McQueen stars in this classic action movie about Frank Bullitt, a San Francisco detective who has become hardened to crime. He is assigned by an over ambitious politician Chalmers (Robert Vaughn) to protect a key Mafia member who is due to appear in hearings that would catapault Chalmers into the public eye. But the safe house is ambushed, his friend is murdered and the witness is critically injured. Bullitt decides to search for the origin of the leak and the killers himself, despite Chalmers trying to interfere and shut down the investigation in a bid to keeping the hearings going. The film features one of cinema's most famous car chases, and expert driver McQueen performs all his own stunts.
Double-bill of big-budget spin-offs of the classic 1960s sci-fi adventure series created by Gene Roddenberry. In 'Star Trek' (2009), the film chronicles the early years in the life of James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members, including Kirk's enrolment at Starfleet Academy, his first meeting with Spock (Zachary Quinto) and their battles with time-travelling Romulans from the future. Eric Bana, Winona Ryder and Simon Pegg co-star, along with Leonard Nimoy, who reprises his role as the older Spock. In 'Star Trek Into Darkness' (2013), Captain Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise are called back to Earth after a devastating force from within their organisation leaves the planet in chaos and Starfleet in pieces. Determined to settle the score, Kirk embarks on a manhunt with the rest of his crew including Spock, Scotty (Pegg) and Chekov (Anton Yelchin) to find the party responsible before their whole world is laid to waste.
