Robin Williams shakes up 1965 Saigon as irreverent, non-conformist deejay Adrian Cronauer.

Imported by the army for an early am radio show, Cronauer blasts the formerly staid, sanitized airwaves with a constant barrage of rapid-fire humour and the hippest tunes from back home.

This film was released on a wave of controversy and led to calls for Congress to re-open government records from the 1977 House Select Committee on the assassination. Stone weaves actual archive footage with historical reconstruction and conjecture to present his argument that Kennedy was killed by the CIA due to his desire to withdraw troops from Vietnam. War drama centered around the Iraq conflict. American soldier Adam Smith (Stephen Hogan) is taken hostage by a local extremist (Elyes Gabel) and held in a basement in Baghdad where he is tortured and made to film propaganda. As Adam counts down the hours till his execution, hoping one of his fellow fighters will come to his aid, the pair debate the ideologies of their warring factions.

Superman must again race against time to stop the psychopathic Luthor before it's too late.

Independent sci-fi horror. 80 people from various walks of life are abducted by an unknown force. Made to take part in a race where the consequences of straying from the designated path are a gruesome and bloody death, the fittest of the group will have to find a means of surviving the ordeal while the weakest succumb to a horrific demise.

When seedy 1980s LA rock dive the Bourbon Rooms comes under threat from property developers, owner Dennis Dupree (Alec Baldwin) enlists the assistance of weathered rock legend Stacee Jaxx (Tom Cruise) to keep the good times rolling. Meanwhile, young lovers Drew (Diego Boneta) and Sherrie (Hough) fight to keep their love on track as they chase their dreams in the big city. The film features music by 1980s rock acts including Def Leppard, Foreigner, Journey and Poison.

Ben Hur (Charlton Heston) is a Jewish prince who falls out with his close Roman friend (Stephen Boyd) when he refuses to promote Roman rule over his people - his mother and sister are imprisoned and he is enslaved. Hur plans and achieves revenge, but finds true peace when he joins the new following of Jesus Christ. This lavish biblical epic won a record-breaking eleven Oscars and is best known for its exciting chariot race sequence.

This Academy Award nominated film is set in 1942 and was Terrence Malick's first film for twenty years. As US soldiers land on the island of Guadalcanal, hoping to capture it from the Japanese, the job of venturing into the jungle falls to the 'C for Charlie' company and the troops are faced by both the enemy and struggles within their own camp. The war takes a heavy toll upon the young soldiers, leading them on a path of disillusion and possibly death.

World War II prequel following the journey of a group of airborne infantry soldiers who are parachuted into occupied France in 1944. The Parachute Regimental Combat Team jumped into the south of France on the 15th of August 1944, landing behind enemy lines. The men's mission was to help clear a path for the main bulk of British and US soldiers advancing towards Berlin. However, landing in occupied territory is always a dangerous business and the soldiers soon find themselves fighting in close combat with German troops and teaming up with members of the French resistance who seek their help. Corbin Allred, David Nibley and Jasen Wade star.

Matt Damon stars in this sci-fi thriller directed by Ridley Scott. During a mission to Mars, a crew of NASA astronauts are caught in a storm that leaves Mark Watney (Damon) missing and presumed dead. As the rest of the crew return to Earth, Watney awakens to find himself surrounded by the desolate landscape of the red planet. With no way to communicate the news of his survival back to Earth, Watney must figure out a way to prolong his life expectancy until the next NASA mission visits the planet in approximately four years. The all-star cast includes Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Jessica Chastain and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

All six parts of the classic Doctor Who story, with Tom Baker playing the legendary Time Lord as he faces up to his greatest enemy - the Daleks. Charged by the Time Lords with the task of destroying the Dalek menace before they have even developed, the Doctor travels with Sarah (Elisabeth Sladen) and Harry (Ian Marter) back in time to the planet of Skaro, to a point where he could prevent the evolution of the Dalek race. But the Doctor faces a crisis of conscience as he questions the ethics of what amounts to genocide. Will he be able to destroy an entire species to save countless lives in the future?

Everything is going well for the Mystery Inc. gang: they're enjoying a high profile, and the public adore them so much their hometown of Coolsville has even opened a special museum in their honour. His brother was shot down by Apaches armed with automatic rifles, and Stewart is looking for the man who sold them to the Indians. Following 'Winchester 73', 'Bend in the River', 'The Naked Spur' and 'The Far Country', this was the last of the five classic westerns Stewart made with director Anthony Mann.

When he is eventually captured, the authorities subject him to a series of experiments designed to rid him of his violent tendencies.

New York cop Frank Keller (Al Pacino) is divorced, disenchanted and coming close to retirement. A serial killer strikes in the city, attacking men in their bedrooms and it would seem that a woman using the personal ads is responsible. Keller teams up with fellow cop Sherman (John Goodman), who has also had a serial killer operating on his patch, and together they dream up the idea of placing their own advertisements in the personal columns, dating the women and collecting their fingerprints. One woman who answers the ad is the beautiful and seductive Helen (Ellen Barkin). Frank falls heavily for her and against his better judgement begins an affair with the prime suspect.

A double bill of the classic 70's thrillers featuring an Oscar-winning Gene Hackman as 'Popeye' Doyle. In the first film Doyle and Buddy Russo (Roy Scheider) are tough New York cops attempting to crack a drug smuggling ring. They have a small candy store under surveillance, but Doyle is not happy when he receives the order to work with a pair of French federal agents on the case, one of whom he has a long-standing feud with. Hackman and director William Friedkin both earned Oscars for the film, which also took the award for Best Picture. Whilst in the sequel Doyle (Hackman) travels to Marseilles to track down Charnier (Fernando Rey), the leader of a drug smuggling ring whom he failed to capture in the first film. Kidnapped by dealers and pumped with heroin, Doyle has to kick his new-found habit before he can set about his revenge.
