Amanda is charmed by Iris' handsome brother Graham (Jude Law) and Iris, with inspiration provided by legendary screenwriter Arthur (Eri Wallach), mends her heart when she meets film composer Miles (Jack Black). In 'Love Actually' (2003), eight stories involving the love lives of more than a dozen characters are brought together over one Christmas and climax on Christmas Eve; from the recent widower Daniel (Liam Neeson), the failing marriage of Karen (Emma Thompson) and Harry (Alan Rickman), the aging rocker (Bill Nighy) who just wants to get paid (and laid if possible), through to the Prime Minister (Hugh Grant) falling for a member of Number 10's staff (Martine McCutcheon).

The quintessential movie spoof that spawned an entire genre of parody films, the original Airplane! still holds up as one of the brightest comedic gems of the '80s, not to mention of cinema itself (it ranked in the top 5 of Entertainment Weekly's list of the 100 funniest movies ever made). The humor may be low and obvious at times, but the jokes keep coming at a rapid-fire clip and its targets--primarily the lesser lights of '70s cinema, from disco films to star-studded disaster epics--are more than worthy for send-up. If you've seen even one of the overblown Airport movies then you know the plot: the crew of a filled-to-capacity jetliner is wiped out and it's up to a plucky stewardess and a shell-shocked fighter pilot to land the plane. Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty are the heroes who have a history that includes a meet-cute la Saturday Night Fever, a surf scene right out of From Here to Eternity, a Peace Corps trip to Africa to teach the natives the benefits of Tupperware and basketball, a war-ravaged recovery room with a G.I. who thinks he's Ethel Merman (a hilarious cameo)--and those are just the flashbacks! The jokes gleefully skirt the boundaries of bad taste (pilot Peter Graves to a juvenile cockpit visitor: "Joey, have you ever seen a grown man naked?"), with the high (low?) point being Hagerty's intimate involvement with the blow-up automatic pilot doll, but they'll have you rolling on the floor. The film launched the careers of collaborators Jim Abrahams (Big Business), David Zucker (Ruthless People), and Jerry Zucker (Ghost), as well as revitalized such B-movie actors as Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, Robert Stack, and Leslie Nielsen, who built a second career on films like this. Two blaxploitation horror movies. In 'Blacula' (1972), two centuries after having a curse placed on him by Count Dracula in Transylvania, African Prince Mamuwalde (William Marshall) is transported to Los Angeles where he goes on a killer rampage. While he discovers a woman (Vonetta McGee) he believes to be the reincarnation of his late wife, Mamuwalde already has a vampire-hunting doctor (Thalmus Rasulala) on his trail. In 'Scream Blacula Scream' (1973), after his undoing in 'Blacula', Mamuwalde (Marshall) returns from the dead in modern-day Los Angeles. He soon comes up against a voodoo priestess (Pam Grier).

Double bill of supernatural horrors directed by James Wan, starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as real-life demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. In 'The Conjuring' (2013), when the Perron family experience strange goings-on at their farmhouse, they enlist the help of paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine. As they investigate, however, the couple begin to realise that, despite their expertise, they may not be equipped to deal with such a violent and foreboding evil... In 'The Conjuring 2' (2016) Ed and Lorraine are called in to investigate a series of unsettling events at a home in Enfield, London. The pair come to the aid of single mother Peggy Hodgson (Frances O'Connor), after she claims her two daughters are being tormented by an evil spirit. Not long after moving in to the house, the Warrens begin to experience some terrifying phenomena of their own, with the demonic entity seemingly intent on forcing them out. Plagued by hideous visions, physical attacks and even possession, the couple become embroiled in a deadly fight to survive as they attempt to conclude their investigation.

Another Muppet adventure with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Rizzo, Fozzy and Animal. The Muppets must go to the North Pole to personally deliver three letters to Santa after they accidentally stop them from being posted. Trying to reach Santa before he sets out on Christmas Eve to deliver presents, the hapless Muppets face a whole host of obstacles and problems. Whoopi Goldberg, Uma Thurman, Jane Krakowski and Tony Sirico also star.

A teenager with a criminal record becomes a pop singer in New Orleans but is pursued by the local crime boss.

Action adventure directed by David Flores. In light of the Roswell invasion, a team of elite soldiers are trained in secret for 25 years to counter a possible extraterrestrial threat. However, the group of five ageing soldiers find themselves retired when the Government deems them to be no longer necessary. But seven years later, when aliens again make their presence known on Earth, former group leader Patrick (Greg Evigan) resolves to reunite the team, believing them to be their planet's only hope. As the invaders hover in the skies above major cities across the U.S. and proceed to wreak havoc on the population, the soldiers rush to finally put their training into action to save their fellow citizens.

Christian action trilogy starring Kirk Cameron. In 'Left Behind - The Movie' (2000) chaos ensues on Earth when millions of people mysteriously vanish, causing unmanned planes to fall from the sky and vehicles to crash and burn in the streets. As one of those left behind, journalist Buck Williams (Cameron) embarks on a quest to find the true cause of the devastation. He discovers the departed were all Christians who were instantly transported to heaven to save them from the prophesised Armageddon, leaving Buck and the other non-believers to tackle the arrival of the Antichrist and endure the forthcoming Great Tribulation... Two film versions of Roald Dahl's classic children's novel collected together in one set. In 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' (1971), directed by Mel Stuart, young Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum) wins one of the coveted 'Golden Tickets' from a Wonka Bar that allows its holder to take a trip around the eccentric Willy Wonka's (Gene Wilder) Chocolate Factory. Charlie and the rest of the winners find themselves in a magical world of chocolate rivers, Oompa Loompas, everlasting gobstoppers, lickable wall-paper, golden egg-laying geese and chilling tales to warn children not to misbehave. Roald Dahl wrote the screenplay from his own book. In Tim Burton's expansive remake, 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (2005), Freddie Highmore plays Charlie, whilst Johnny Depp takes on the role of Wonka.

Michael Caine stars in this epic story of the battle of Rorke's Drift, on January 22nd 1879, where 1,200 British troops found themselves completely outnumbered by irate Zulu warriors in Natal, South Africa. Having already destroyed a very large British garrison, 4,000 Zulu warriors are now on their way to overcome the handful of men stationed at Rorke's Drift. The two lieutenants in charge of the garrison, Jon Chard (Stanley Baker) and Gonville Bromhead (Caine), are at odds with each other, but manage to rally the men together and put up a courageous fight. Only a few of the men survived, eleven receiving the Victoria Cross.

This film was released on a wave of controversy and led to calls for Congress to re-open government records from the 1977 House Select Committee on the assassination. Stone weaves actual archive footage with historical reconstruction and conjecture to present his argument that Kennedy was killed by the CIA due to his desire to withdraw troops from Vietnam. The film gained several Oscar nominations and Stone won a Golden Globe award for Best Director.
