The extended edition (over 40 extra minutes) of the second film in Peter Jackson's epic big screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. The Fellowship of the Ring has now divided and Sam and Frodo are lost in the hills of Emyn Muil. They are also being followed by Gollum, a creature who promises to help them find the Mountain of Doom. Meanwhile Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli search for the hobbits Merry and Pippin in the Kingdom of Rohan, which is currently being attacked by Saruman's orc armies. Gandalf returns as Gandalf the White to remind Aragorn of his destiny to unite the people of Rohan with Gondor. Whilst the Fellowship are not travelling together they must unite against the powerful forces coming from the Two Towers: Orthanc Tower in Isengard where Saruman has bred a deadly army of 10,000, and Sauron's fortress at Barad-dûr.

Having lived anonymously with mortals for many years, Vine's loyalty comes into question when he has to make the choice between his brethren and a human girl with whom he has falling in love. The cast also includes Danielle Chuchran, Keely Alone and Eric Edwards.

of outsider friends together to search for clues.
Actor and comedian Alan Davies makes a return to stand up for this show performed at London's Hammersmith Apollo as part of his new tour. Alan takes a comedic look at various subjects including Facebook, sex toys, his childhood and being a dad.
A woman has to deal with feelings of grief and guilt after her husband and son die in a terrorist attack. A young London mother (Michelle Williams) waves her husband and son goodbye as they head off to see a local football match. As soon as they're gone, she entertains local news reporter Jasper Black (Ewan MacGregor), with whom she's been having an affair. As the two begin making love, a news flash on the television informs them that a suicide bomber has attacked the stadium which her husband and child were attending. In a blind panic, the woman heads for the football ground, where she runs into her late husband's boss, police officer Terence Butcher (Matthew Macfadyen). In the following weeks, as she attempts to put her life back in order, she's introduced to, and befriends, a young boy (Sidney Johnston) whose father was involved in the attack.
Ken Russell helms this graphic 1971 adaptation of a documented witchcraft case, which took place in France in 1634. Outspoken priest Urbain Grandier (Oliver Reed) finds himself accused of seducing a group of hysterical nuns while in demon form by Mother Superior Sister Jeanne (Vanessa Redgrave), who is obsessed with Grandier and driven into a fit of envy when he marries another woman. With the involvement of charismatic exorcist Father Barre (Michael Gothard), the affair turns into a sordid mass exorcism of the tainted convent. With much controversy surrounding its subject matter of religion combined with violence and sex, many cuts were made to the film in order for it to attain certification.

Once released from Belle Reve penitentiary, the squad, which includes Deadshot (Smith), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Slipknot (Adam Beach), The Joker (Leto) and Harley Quinn (Robbie), must carry out life-threatening covert operations, under the command of leader Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), to protect the planet from unseen evils.

While his earthly body dies, Caster's mind is fully embedded within the computer and he soon begins to exercise the potential of his newly-gained power. But with this power comes great destruction which threatens the future of mankind...

With access to Ali's personal audio journals as well as his friends and family members, the film explores how he became an internationally recognised celebrity and countercultural figure due to a provocative and entertaining nature, and also examines how he was with those closest to him while at the top of his game.
Animated adventure about a sled dog team, led by the adventurous husky, Balto. Balto begins to worry that the sled team is under threat, as more and more people are relying on aeroplanes to deliver the mail. A race is set up to see who can deliver the mail fastest - Balto's team, or one of the new bush pilots. But when Balto's team wins the race with no sign of the pilot, he begins to suspect the worst, and leads the gang on an epic adventure to rescue him and bring him home.
Light-hearted made-for-TV sequel in which former police dog Zeus once again comes to the rescue of his family. The Bannister family and their trusty dog, Zeus (voice of Joey Lawrence), have moved into a new house. All is well in the house itself, but their neighbour, Eli (Lance Henrikson), and his dog, Medusa (voice of Mayim Bialik), seem to be strange characters. So strange are the happenings across at Eli's, that George Bannister (Gary Valentine) enlists the help of his former enemies, Ted (Dean Cain) and Stewey (Joey Diaz), to investigate. When the three fail to return, Zeus is once again called to save the day.
Actress Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn) has every reason to be content, having just completed a film with director Burke Dennings (Jack MacGowran). However, she becomes disturbed by the changes taking place in her 12-year-old daughter, Regan (Linda Blair). No medical cure is forthcoming, and after Burke is killed by being thrown from Regan's window, Chris turns to local Jesuit priest Father Damien Karras (Jason Miller) for help. Karras then calls in exorcist Father Lankester Merrin (Max von Sydow), who confirms that Regan is possessed by the devil. William Peter Blatty's screenplay, based on his own novel inspired by actual events, won an Oscar, and the film was deemed so powerful that it was refused a BBFC certificate for fifteen years.
Matt Damon returns to star as the deadly CIA assassin in this espionage thriller directed by Paul Greengrass. After spending years off the grid, former agent Bourne (Damon) unexpectedly emerges from the shadows in search of more answers surrounding his hazy past. Meanwhile, new CIA Director Robert Dewey (Tommy Lee Jones) is dealing with the fallout following a major cyber-attack, and authorises a new program to hunt down Bourne after he shows up on agency surveillance systems. Desperate to keep one step ahead of his relentless pursuers, Bourne seeks the help of ex-contact Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles), and once again finds himself on the run across the globe and unable to trust anyone. The cast also includes Alicia Vikander, Riz Ahmed and Ato Essandoh.
Nicole Kidman and Jason Bateman star in this dark comedy drama based on the novel by Kevin Wilson. Annie and Baxter Fang (Kidman and Bateman) had an extremely unusual childhood, with their parents using them as props in their performance art pieces. As Annie grows up to be a successful actress and Baxter an acclaimed author, they return to their family home after Baxter is shot and in need of recuperation. When they receive a call from the police saying that their parents are missing and believed dead, the siblings disagree over whether the news is real or simply their most elaborate performance. The cast also includes Christopher Walken, Maryann Plunkett and Kathryn Hahn.
Comedy starring Uma Thurman. Rafi (Thurman) is a 37-year-old photographer who meets David (Bryan Greenberg), a 23-year-old painter fresh out of college. John Stockwell directs this tense action drama documenting the covert mission undertaken by a US Navy Seal team to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden. After arriving at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, and being put through punishingly intensive training for their mission, the team learn that their target is Osama Bin Laden, codename: Geronimo. As they set out on the deadliest mission of their lives, the unit must come together in one final, all or nothing attempt to take down America's most wanted terrorist.
Drama based on the teenage years of writer and director Lori Petty. Agnes (Jennifer Lawrence) is the oldest of three daughters who finds herself caring for her younger siblings when her single mother (Selma Blair) turns to prostitution, drugs and alcohol after meeting a pimp named Duval (Bokeem Woodbine), who seems to have a fondness for Agnes. With their house overrun by gamblers, criminals and other seedy characters the girls struggle to lead a normal life. Cammie (Chloë Grace Moretz) escapes the chaos of the house only to sit in bars and Bee (Sophi Bairley) wants nothing more than to run away and be adopted, while Agnes tries to earn enough money to support her family and manage the expectations of being a star basketball player.

assistance in determining what is wrong. With the help of Professor Van
Helsing (Mark Topping) they conclude that Lucy has come under a vampire
curse.
Two brothers move to a new town and soon fall in with the wrong crowd. Nothing unusual about that, except these particular no-mark punks also happen to be blood-swilling vampires. The older brother (Jason Patric) proves easy prey and is soon a fully paid-up member of the undead. But the younger brother (Corey Haim) is made of tougher stuff and, along with a couple of friends, decides to make a stand. Pretty soon the suburbs start swinging to the sound of teen-vampire combat. |
