British comedy. Stephen Turnbull (Edward Hogg) has not left the house for months. When an infestation of mice wreaks havoc on his precious daily routine, he starts to relive a road trip around Europe with his best mate Bunny (Simon Farnaby). The story of their debauched and chronically underfunded trip is played out in flashback, chronicling a series of bizarre and disastrous encounters including a demented dog-loving tramp (Julian Barratt), an alcoholic ex-matador (Noel Fielding) and the dullest tour guide that ever lived (Richard Ayoade). But it is superstitious waitress Eloisa (Veronica Echegui) who steals their hearts, prompting an unlikely love triangle that takes them from the industrial wastelands of Poland to the bull fields of Spain.
The crew of the Starship Enterprise come out of retirement when Earth is threatened by a massive energy field. Captain Kirk (William Shatner), now an Admiral, Spock (Leonard Nimoy), Bones (DeForest Kelley), and the rest of the television regulars are all on board for what proved to be the first of a series of movie adventures.

Power line repairman Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) has a 'close encounter' with an alien spacecraft when he is sent out to investigate a mysterious power surge one night. Guy Hamilton's classic war film looks at how England defended itself from the German aerial onslaught of the summer of 1940. Laurence Olivier plays Sir Hugh Dowding, the air chief marshal whose fleet outmanouevre the Luftwaffe, despite a numerical disadvantage; and those few to whom so many owed so much are portrayed by an all-star cast including Michael Caine, Kenneth More and Ralph Richardson. Despite its pro-British slant, the authenticity of the film's impressive flying sequences was guaranteed by the technical advice of Adolf Galland, one of the Nazi's most celebrated World War 2 pilots.
Japanese anime drama written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. 15-year-old school student and apprentice shoemaker Takao Akizuki (voice of Patrick Poole) is in the park on a rainy day when he meets 27-year-old Yukari Yukino (Maggie Flecknoe), a woman who is trying to overcome recent personal troubles. They continue to encounter each other on subsequent rainy days and begin to develop a bond but with Takao still just a teenager where can their relationship realistically go?

Franklin will need help from his friends and his aunt - and must also contend with her headstrong goddaughter Samantha.

Cult Jamaican classic starring reggae star Jimmy Cliff as Ivanhoe Martin, a country boy who comes to Kingston to make it big in the music industry. Hampered by payola and music industry corruption, Ivanhoe turns to ganja-dealing to try and make ends meet. Events spiral out of his control and he soon finds himself on the run from the police. The celebrated soundtrack is peppered with reggae classics by the likes of Toots and the Maytals, Desmond Dekker, The Melodians and Cliff himself who performs, among others, the title track and the timeless 'Many Rivers to Cross'.
Maggie Gyllenhaal stars in this off-beat comedy that looks at the world of sado-masochism. Lee Holloway (Gyllenhaal) has recently left a mental institute and has been released into the care of her over-bearing mother and alcoholic father. Determined to get her life together, she gets a job as a secretary for an attorney she does her best to please. But when her new boss, E. Edward Grey (James Spader), finds fault with her typing and begins to administer a rather unconventional kind of punishment (he spanks her), Lee realises that she quite enjoys it. However, Grey sacks her because he can't enjoy humiliating her when he knows she secretly likes it. But Lee has now developed a taste for it and will try anything to get back as Grey's secretary.
James Bond (this time played by George Lazenby) hands in his licence to kill after being banned from hunting down his arch-nemesis Blofeld (Telly Savalas). Continuing his investigations alone, he follows a lead to Portugal, meets and falls in love with Tracey Draco (Diana Rigg), and is told by her crimelord father that Blofeld is now in Switzerland. Pretty soon its snow, kilts, girls, secret bases and ski chases, as Bond chases down his enemy and attempts to foil a plan to unleash a deadly chemical weapon.
Clint Eastwood's completion of the Iwo Jima saga. Here the action is seen from the Japanese point of view and the film is based on the book 'Picture Letters from Commander in Chief' by Tadamichi Kuribayashi. The island of Iwo Jima stands between the American military force and the home islands of Japan. Therefore the Imperial Japanese Army is desperate to prevent it from falling into American hands and providing a launching point for an invasion of Japan. General Tadamichi Kuribayashi (Ken Watanabe) is given command of the forces on the island and sets out to prepare for the imminent attack. General Kuribayashi, however, does not favour the rigid traditional approach recommended by his subordinates, and resentment and resistance fester among his staff.

Historical drama starring Patrick Stewart and Glenn Close. In 1183, after the death of his eldest son, King Henry II (Stewart) must decide which of his three remaining sons will succeed him. As the time for him to announce his successor approaches, Henry frees his imprisoned wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine (Close), who he held captive after she plotted to overthrow him. It soon becomes clear, however, that Eleanor favours first child Richard (Andrew Howard), while Henry sees his youngest, John (Rafe Spall), as the next in line but, in the weeks ahead, the King begins to have serious doubts if any of his sons are capable of becoming the new ruler.

Documentary about the career of Britpop band Oasis. Growing up on a Manchester council estate, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher started their journey as Oasis in 1991. They hit the peak of their fame in 1996 as they played their home ground of Manchester City and two consecutive nights at Knebworth. The band went on to become one of the most successful acts of the time, achieving seven number one albums and 24 top ten singles. Throughout their career the band found themselves the subject of many controversies including several legal battles over plagiarism as well as being outspoken about their views on politics and the media. After a very public split in 2009 the brothers went their separate ways leaving behind hours of footage put together in this documentary by director Mat Whitecross.

King Roland of the planet Druidia is trying to marry his daughter Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) to Prince Valium, but Vespa is kidnapped by the evil race of the Spaceballs.
