Realisation does not give you satisfaction of solving a particular
problem. It is to question the problem making mechanism itself.
Mind seeks satisfaction through the solution of the problem. It
says, 'take me out of the problem, uneasiness'. Can one see that
this is a new problem? And this problem raises its head every time
one faces an unfavourable situation. To understand this (new)
problem is to end it. The end of it is the end of the problem
making mechanism. You can save yourself physically. But you can not
save yourself psychologically. And apart from immediate physical
security, all insecurity is psychological insecurity. You can take
action for your physical safety. You can not take any action for
your psychological safety. Energy is dissipated when one starts
taking action (thinking) for psychological safety, security.

Beneath the surface we are all connected . . . 'An authentically
soothing, powerful, thought-provoker.' MATT HAIG 'On Connection is
medicine for these wounded times.' MAX PORTER 'On Connection came
to me when I needed it most, and reminded me that the links we have
to places, people, words, ourselves, are what keep us alive.'
CANDICE CARTY-WILLIAMS This is a book about connection. About how
immersing ourselves in creativity can help us cultivate greater
self-awareness and bring us closer to each other. Drawing on two
decades of experience as a writer and performer, Kae Tempest
champions the role of creativity - in whatever form we choose to
practice it - as an act of love, helping us establish a deeper
relationship to our true selves, and to others and the world we
live in. Honest, hopeful and written with piercing clarity, On
Connection is an inspiring personal meditation that will transform
the way you see the world. 'Persuasive and profound.' OBSERVER
'Tempest's prose is crisp and thoughtful.' NEW STATESMAN
He was born in the city of Pachuca in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico.
He completed his basic and intermediary studies in the same city.
Subsequently, he graduated as an oiling engineer from the National
Autonomous University of Mexico. He practices this profession for
20 years, of which the last 15 he spends working in the maritime
platforms of PEMEX, located in the Gulf of Mexico, in the south
east part of the country. During his off time, he lives in the
state of Jalisco with his wife. The narrative of this book is the
succinct of a painful fight, through the course of 20 years of the
life of the author, who faced severe depression. However, he is
able to analyze, identify, and control the thoughts coupled to his
suffering, thanks to the support that the philosophy of Plato
offers, and not without the adequate prescription medication. In
such way he exposes, classifies and reveals the thoughts that
propitiate the obsessive ideas, in order to finally explain how it
is possible to suppress them. It does not pretend to reach the
precision of the syllogisms, nor the universal truth of what is
exposed without having to submit it through scientific scrutiny;
first, verifying it with the number of sufficient cases, and
confronting it with others that are enunciated and observations
that fail to dismiss it, or confirm its certainty.

There slumber in every human being faculties by means of which he
can acquire for himself a knowledge of higher worlds. Mystics,
Gnostics, Theosophists - all speak of a world of soul and spirit
which for them is just as real as the world we see with our
physical eyes and touch with our physical hands. At every moment
the listener may say to himself: that, of which they speak, I too
can learn, if I develop within myself certain powers which today
still slumber within me. -- Rudolf Steiner
