"It is not uncommon for fathers and sons to come to blows if the two love one another." So says Dr. Harlan Cragg, an ageless, cantankerous golf pro determined to probe the differences between Robert and Jack Johannes, a loving father and son grown distant. When the pair answer the doctor's summons to the Evalon Island Golf Academy, they sign on to a series of mystical tests of their essential nature, their true mettle. Storm-stayed, the duo must confront golfing angels and demons while unearthing the startling legacies of golfers before them. Soon father and son have passed every exam save one: a final round on the famed Links of Evalon destined to change their partnership forever. A timeless, richly illustrated novel for golfers young and old, The Links of Evalon is as enlightening and mysterious as the game itself.

In this breakthrough manual, you will learn the way that many great masters and teachers in various disciplines recommend we learn things, the way they developed their amazing skill. It is astounding to discover that, at root, they all eventually excelled in their art using the same approach, and this has been used for centuries in martial arts, in fencing, and, in the post-modern era, in a variety of sports. It is known as the slow motion practice method, and we find it used by virtually all great performers in the world of pianists, violinists, guitarists, and other musicians. In golf, Ben Hogan exemplified an outstanding example of this method, but he kept it hidden from almost everyone until recently, when some very rare footage of him appeared on the INTERNET. However, it is difficult for a serious golfer to take advantage of this method unless he or she has it properly explained. This is what my book and invention provide to the international golfing public for the first time.

"Fear of any kind is the number-one enemy of all golfers,
regardless of ball-striking and shot making capabilities." Golf is supposed to be fun But many people who play don't see it that way. Many golfers, after having spent countless dollars and hours on the sport, find them selves having too many negative thoughts, limited beliefs, and other foolish self-sabotaging behaviors. Is there any hope to this kind of madness? I get so nervous and scared? I end up choking and "throwing up" all over myself? I can't seem to control my demons? I get angry and often beat myself up? Sometimes I can't even hit the broadside of a barn? I never seem to get any better? Let renowned mental golf coach Rand Marquardt show you how he went from a frustrated, misaligned ten-handicap golfer to a more confident, connected one-handicap golfer in just one summer-and how you can do it too Don't spend another day being angry, afraid, or frustrated again. Instead, learn to play golf more often in The Zone and how to harness and expand your inner wisdom by going with the flow along THE FAIRWAY OF LIFE.

2010 Reprint of 1920 Illustrated Edition. James Douglas Edgar (1884-1921) was an English professional golfer and golf writer. He won the French Open in 1914. The Gate to Golf was based on his discoveries made in England. Edgar had an ailing hip which he could not turn freely. Through a series of experiments, he found that a restricted hip turn still allowed a repeatable swing with excellent power and control. This book proved to have significant impact on golf instruction, right up to the present time. Illustrated with photos displaying the technique described in the text.

It is a must have companion for every junior golfer seeking their spot on a college golf team. With limited college golf team spots and scholarships available, you need an edge, and this is it. dramatic, and memorable showdowns in golf history. Day after day,
Rocco Mediate, a respected journeyman whose career had been dogged
by injuries pushed the seemingly invincible Tiger Woods to his
physical and mental limits. Not even Mediate would ever have
predicted that for five days, he would match the unbeaten world
number one, explosive shot for explosive shot.
