A College Golf Plan is one of the only in-depth books specifically designed for the junior golfer who desires to play golf at the collegiate level. It is a must have companion for every junior golfer seeking their spot on a college golf team. With limited college golf team spots and scholarships available, you need an edge, and this is it. The business of college sports recruiting is complicated and confusing. Junior golfers and their parents rarely know where to turn for help or how to proceed in getting their student on the right track, until now. College golf coaches have limited recruiting budgets and time, they need to hear directly from the junior golfer early in the student-athlete's teen years. A College Golf Plan provides the junior golfer with a step by step, year by year, topic by topic game plan guiding them through every aspect of the bewildering recruiting process. Written through the lens of first hand personal experience, it is extensively researched drawing from interviews with coaches, college personnel, tour directors, other junior golfer's, their parents and more. It takes the junior golfer through a year by year strategy on how to: create and send superior letters, resumes and swing videos; market themselves to the right people at the right time; maximize exposure at optimal tournaments; navigate the recruiting process, the application process, campus visits, and choosing the right college; ask and answer expert questions; steer through the maze of recruiting rules, offers, signings, finances and so much more. A College Golf Plan is the perfect tool to jump start the junior golfer's dream of playing college golf. It is a must have guide that you cannot do without
The U.S. Open in June 2008 produced one of the most unexpected,
dramatic, and memorable showdowns in golf history. Day after day,
Rocco Mediate, a respected journeyman whose career had been dogged
by injuries pushed the seemingly invincible Tiger Woods to his
physical and mental limits. Not even Mediate would ever have
predicted that for five days, he would match the unbeaten world
number one, explosive shot for explosive shot.

As a golf professional of more years experience than I care to remember, I have no hesitation in saying that Dr Murray's second golf book does indeed warrant the title 'More Golf Secrets.' The author has given the reader the benefit of his long experience of the game by approaching the subject in this book in the same analytical manner as he did the swing and golf fallcies in 'The Golf Secret.' I have never seen the grip and the stance so perfectly and completely described. Ball spin and its effects are fascinating and instructive. Putting, the stymie and the chip shot - the all-important "short game" - are admirably described with a view to rolling three shots into two. Shots from the rough, uneven lies and bunker shots are made to appear almost desirable for the pleasure they give, and the mathematics of them are intriguing and convincing. Wind and rain no longer seem to matter. The skillful analyses of the various golf factors provide much information that is entirely new. This book is a must for every golfer-duffer or pro. Algy Easterbrook, Golf Professional
Ben Hogan's legendary secret finally comes to light, literally making it a whole new ball game. This Whip grip (coupled with a change in the stance) is designed to give the rest of us the flexibility that has been missing from the Vardon technique since the days of the hickory shaft. Named after the first man-made object to break the sound barrier - the Bullwhip - it enhances the four variables to the physics formula for distance: more length, width, launch angle and clubhead speed. The senior golfer will find it a veritable fountain of youth; supplying extra distance, while massively reducing joint and muscle stress with an astounding additional THREE FEET OF TAKEAWAY ON THE DRAWBACK. For the pro, it prevents the small muscles in the hands from creating havoc under the pressure of the TV cameras. For the novice, it's a fast track method of improvement to the intermediate and advanced levels. And, for the non-golfer, it provides a method of hearing the glorious wail of the bagpipes for the very first time.
Fred Corcoran was golf's first promoter, business manager, press agent and international tournament director. In 1936, a year before he became the tournament manager of the PGA, there were 22 tournaments nationwide. By the time he left in 1947, there were 45 tournaments and the purse had increased 300%. Fred Corcoran loved a good show and could put one on. He was probably the most complex and fascinating personality in the history of the game, and he might have been the richest had others seen the future as he did. With Sam Snead, Ted Williams, Tony Lema, Gene Sarazen, Walter Hagen, Babe Zaharias, Bing Crosby, Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Ben Hogan, Ken Venturi, Jack Sharkey, Stan Musial and Peter Gogolak as his friends and clients, Fred Corcoran put golf on the map and told a million stories about it.

A Golfers Quest, A Journey to Play America's Top 100 Golf Courses, describes a passionate 20-year journey to play the top courses, as designated by Golf Digest Magazine. Dean Sivara, a High Tech Executive shares his thoughts, perspectives and experiences while playing golf on the most sacred golfing venues in America. Dean is not only a good golfer (3-handicap), but is also a student of the game, with a love for golf course architecture. He not only describes his experiences at over 50 of the most exclusive courses in America, but more importantly he provides a helpful checklist of ways to gain access to the most private venues, including Augusta National, Merion & Shinnecock Hills. He also adds interesting pictures and shares the actual scorecards he used at each of the venues. This is an interesting and compelling recap of Dean's remarkable journey to accomplish a rare feat (only a handful of golfers have completed a Top 100 list, according to Golf Digest).
2009 reprint of 1887 First edition.First published in 1887, the first edition of the Art of Golf is considered a rarity. According to Bernard Davis, "The Art of Golf is not a book that even when it was first written could safely have been recommended to a student but it is the most entertaining book ever written about the foibles of the human golfer." This book, with its instructional photographs, can be read today with as much enjoyment as any modern instruction book. Illustrated with 20 photos and 10 diagrams.
A collection of politically incorrect humorous golf stories.
The last word on putting from one of the greatest golfers-and putters-ever Jack Nicklaus is considered the greatest player of all time by countless golf fans around the world. Nicklaus's classic "Golf My Way-"the sport's all-time worldwide instructional bestseller-has helped millions of players improve their all-around game. In "Putting My Way," Nicklaus presents his clear and cohesive approach every element of the craft of superb putting, from finding the right putter to the mechanics of stroking the ball, to the strategies involved in the most neglected part of golf by amateurs, despite it representing at least 45 per cent of their play. technique, practice, and execution and see results that lift your
game.Explains every mental and physical element of putting, from

Finally, there is a practical and learnable solution to the age old problem that has confounded golfers since the game was invented: how to get the ball in the whole with the fewest number of strokes. 'Golfing on the Green' provides the aspiring golfer with a complete, step-by-step method for sinking putts in the fewest strokes, and shooting far lower scores. Starting with the fundamentals that help develop the basic mechanics of a sound and sure putting stroke, 'Golfing on the Green' progresses to advanced techniques for dealing with trouble shots, and chipping and pitching with accuracy.
