This yoga book, firmly rooted in the tradition, is a modern
classic. It is first and foremost a practical guide to the whole
system of yoga. The clear step-by-step instructions, richly
illustrated, make it easy for the beginner to learn the yoga poses,
breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation. For the
experienced, the book contains in-depth sections that include both
practice and theory. It even elucidates the tantric tradition,
kundalini yoga, the chakras and the sexual rituals. Use it as a
self-study course and for inspiration in your everyday life.
--------- This book differs from most other books on yoga, it has
its fundament in the tantric tradition, that is, the author's
intention and interest is to offer you a way to achieve tangible
results, rather than to present philosophical explanations, create
dreams and ideals or follow the fleeting fashions in the yoga of
today. The goal is to make it possible for you to create a strong
and supple body and a free and creative mind, and to find peace
within yourself. If you really want something out of yoga, it is
not enough to do some exercises quickly and mechanically like in
sport or fitness training. --------- The book shows yoga in its
original light; recreational, meditative and relaxing, thus
providing necessary energy for meeting your daily activities with
peace and wellbeing. --------- Yoga, Tantra and Meditation in Daily
Life is one of the most widespread yoga books of today. This is the
third expanded and revised edition, for the UK and EU markets.

Teach Like a Human: Essays for Parents and Teachers is a collection
of essays focused on educating children to care about themselves,
their communities, and the world we are privileged to share.
Written for parents and teachers, the book highlights the
importance of listening, caring, communicating, discerning, and
managing relationships effectively. The author draws on principles
from organizational theory, curriculum study, and arts education,
to encourage mindful reflection about educational practices and
policies in pursuit of education for life. Standards based teaching
strategies with its culture of testing will never solve the problem
of teaching all children according to their needs. Physical,
social, and emotional health are each important aspects of human
development and children need strong relationships, positive role
models, good friends, and high expectations from people who care
about them. It truly all matters. Peppered with humor, metaphor and
narrative, this book illuminates how educators, both parents and
teachers, can galvanize experiences to deepen character, insight,
empathy and joy in the people and things around us. To teach like a
human means to teach with consciousness of what it means to be
human, by focusing on qualitative aspects of life with sensitivity
and strategy.
Mindful Alignment: Foundations of Educator Flourishing develops a
foundation for educators to flourish by promoting self-awareness as
a mindful approach to ongoing professional inquiry. It presents
three mindful arts-the art of well-being; the art of positive
relationships; and the art of living from strengths, passions, and
purposes-detailing several practices that, when executed over time,
can provide a focus for developing mindful alignment. The authors
present an approach to personal, professional learning that
encourages educators to slow down, create space to notice, and then
nurture their intentions and actions toward fulfilling their
purposes and passions, in order to grow a sense of flourishing at
work and overcome the challenges presented by teaching in ever
increasingly fast-paced, rapidly-changing, accountability-driven
professional environments.

Journey on the path of self-discovery through the magic of
crystals. Whether you need the power to help you with your home,
health or happiness, this book contains the guidance, advice and
rituals you need to be in sync with your spirituality. The beauty
and uniqueness of crystals and other stones have long been
recognized for their mystic influence in our day-to-day lives.
Historically, people used them for trade and jewellery and, even in
modern times, we use them to create new and wonderous technologies.
They are the product of natural energy derived from cosmic and
geological forces including stars, the sun and intense heat and
pressure from the Earth, so it makes sense to recycle this
potential. The Magic of Crystals explores how you can unlock this
potent vitality with practical advice on what crystals you will
need to enhance particular characteristics in your home, how to
combine their energy with feng shui to create happiness and
harmony, how to relieve spiritual blockages in your chakras plus
much, much more. There are also quick reference pages that give
advice on how to solve common problems.
More and more we rely on digital connection to fulfil our needs. Skype and FaceTime have taken place of meetings; digital devices are used to entertain children instead of playing with them; non-urgent emails and texts are read and responded to whilst in the company of others, lessening personal connections.
Through 100 simple tips, including self-help assessments, step-by-step programmes and rebalancing techniques, this essential guide shows you how technology can still play a useful and rewarding role in your life, but not at the expense of personal relationships and mental health.

Music CD in a Digipack which includes a 16-page booklet which
provides information about the musicians, their philosophy and
their instruments! Music for me can take on many forms. I play for
many reasons, mainly because I love music. I love the high, the
beautiful place it takes me, the feeling during and after I play.
This to me is meditation. Being in the moment and at one with my
own being. No thoughts just allowing the music to come through me.
There are some techniques I use and have discovered on this musical
journey, some of which I will discuss in the next section. Running
time 61 minutes, 55 seconds.
In spiritual teacher Osho's Aspects of Meditation Book 3:
Awareness, the Key you'll discover a deeper understanding of
meditation through an investigation into the subtle workings of the
mind--transforming the unconscious through awareness. The West has
taken to meditation with great enthusiasm. We contemplate. We
concentrate. We embrace mindfulness techniques and a multitude of
mantras. We have undertaken to "do" meditation. The Aspects of
Meditation series is comprised of brief, precious texts in which
Osho shows us the core of meditation is not about sitting silently
or chanting a mantra. It is, instead, a question of understanding
the subtle workings of the mind. In Book 3, Osho explores different
states of unconsciousness and the ways in which they can transform
awareness of the here and now.
