PanPastel Colours are professional grade soft pastel colours packed in a unique pan format (cake-like) so that they can be mixed and applied like paint. With its two surfaces, Mi-Teintes® has nothing but good sides! One side has a honeycomb grain, contributing to its personality, that easily retains the pigments. The other side has a fine grain, ideal for pencil and charcoal. Mi-Teintes® meets all your requirements and is also suitable for art and craft.
This classic French paper has a mottled texture on one side and a flat surface on the other, both equally suitable for pastel, oil pastel, charcoal, chalk, pencil, watercolor, and acrylic. It is a heavyweight paper with a high cotton rag content (66%) to ensure long life without deterioration. The entire range of 42 shades are coloured in the pulp to be highly light-resistant and acid-free.

This compact set is a collaboration between Unison Pastels and the Belfast-based artist wildlife artist Emma Colbert. It includes 16 half sticks which cover every tone you will need to create many different types of animal portrait.Row 1 includes the all important light range vital for painting white animals, but also useful for highlights on every colour of animal. Avoiding white as your main highlight will add more depth and realism to your paintings. Row 2 gives you a full range of cool shadow tones also useful for the highlights on dark or black animals. The Hahnemühle Lana Colour range is a 45% cotton rag paper which is textured on one side and smooth on the other. The 160gsm weight paper contains 45% cotton which will allow for extra scraping and rubbing back, making it a durable surface to create your pastel paintings on.This popular paper is available in an excellent mix of soft muted tones and greys, with a number of bright colours too. The surface is acid-free (except for black) and is often used in papercutting and layered techniques. It is also suitable for oil and soft pastels, pencil, chalk, charcoal, felt tip, ink and gouache.Please note: the minimum order quantity for the paper in this range is 5 sheets.

Each pastel in the Terry Ludwig range is crafted by hand with a broad range of pigments and minimal, natural binders. This results in a pastel which has a high-concentrated pigment and is velvety soft. Terry Ludwig began experimenting with formulas for making his own pastels in 1995 as he was frustrated with the lack of color options available and few choices for very soft pastels. He wanted to create a broad range of colors that were uniformly soft regardless of the density of the hue. There are now over 500 intense colors. The square shape of the pastel allows you to equally create thick, broad strokes or thin, precise lines. The size and shape of each pastel may differ slightly as each one is handcrafted. Each pastel measures 1 1/2 inches x 1/2 x 1/2. Clairefontaine Pastelmat Pastel Board allows you to broaden your working surface as it is rigid enough that it can be supported by an easel. It is also much easier to frame your work using the Pastel Board. The board features the well loved 360gsm acid-free Pastelmat paper which has then been bonded onto a 1.8mm board. The board is acid-free and has a white core.

Unison Colour Pastels are made in Northumberland and contain only pure pigments. Unison groups the colours together in sets of related hues, instead of adding white or black pigment to the colours. The result is intense and vibrant shades, not muddied by the blending of colours.Unison's pastels contain very little binder, making them truly soft and smooth. They are mixed to meticulous recipes and are based on traditional pigments such as cadmiums, cobalts and natural and synthetic earths.Unison Pastels measure approximately 50 x 20mm. The Sennelier oil pastel is a product that makes use of the components used in all Sennelier colours: top quality pigments, an extremely pure synthetic binding medium and mineral wax. The pigments are ground with an inert, non-siccative binding medium that does not oxidise and that has no effect upon either film stability or surface. This base is then mixed with wax (neutral pH). The balance of this mix provides Sennelier oil pastels with a unique unctuousness and a creamy texture that allows for a great deal of freedom in pictorial expression.
