Believe me, my friends, it takes long years, too, and much training from God and from Christ, the King of kings, to make a nation. Everything which is most precious and great is also most slow in growing, and so is a nation. The Scripture compares it everywhere to a tree; and as the tree grows, a people must grow, from small beginnings, perhaps from a single family, increasing on, according to the fixed laws of God's world, for years and hundreds of years, till it becomes a mighty nation, with one Lord, one faith, one work, one Spirit.
Dr. Stringer has done a masterful job of presenting a history of the world through the prism of Scripture and godly perspective. The current godless, secular culture completely ignores the foundational philosophies and events which have shaped the world in which we live. These are presented factually and carefully in Dr. Stringer's masterful work. Many highly recommend this work.
This book provides ideas for parents who want to teach their child about God but who want to do so consistently with the modern world and the discoveries of science. A central theme of Teaching Your Child about God is that "there are other ways to conceive of God besides the anthropomorphic being we learned about as children. Chapters in Teaching Your Child about God discuss survey data showing what children around the world believe about God. Other chapters address what Correia calls "thinking lessons," by which he means the rational side of religion, "loving lessons," by which he means the relationship between loving God and loving others, and "feeling lessons," the relationship between God and self-acceptance. Other chapters discuss the role of God in moral development, the role of prayer in a scientific world, and the special problems of children who have become addicted to drugs or alcohol. The book concludes with an Appendix that describes the major religions of the world in a clear, objective and readable way. Correia argues that such a reference guide can be helpful because: "Knowing the basics of what others believe helps us bridge the gap of misunderstanding that can create barriers between groups."
"Is God Calling You to Ministry?" seeks to answer the question that title asks. If you find that you answer that question in the affirmative, then you need to know how to access the actualization of your destiny. Jesus said to, "Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations." He did not say, "converts," He said "disciples." God has so ordained His Church that there was to be a program of discipleship that empowers the Christian through training, equipping, and transference of anointing to proclaim and defend his or her faith. Every Christian is called to go through this process. The only way to realize the fulfillment of one's destiny is to follow the instructions Jesus had for His church. If we evade discipleship and then think that we will somehow finish our course, we are deluding ourselves. We define what true discipleship and mentoring are so that we can bring this process back to the church and produce leaders that walk in integrity for the next generation.
In today's world of conflict and change, no one can escape the reality that Islam is spreading very fast. Since 9/11, the Muslim population has doubled in the United States of America. Muslims are building mosques and Islamic centers throughout the country. There is an increasing fear among Americans of the imminent threat of terrorism by Muslims in America. What does Islam teach about terrorism? What is Jihad? What does Islam teach about Christians and Jews? What are the basic beliefs of Muslims? Are all Muslims extremists? How about the ones living among us? Do Muslims hate non-Muslims (specifically Christians and Jews)? Is Islam a religion of peace? These and many other questions will be answered in this book. Understanding Islam is the only way to reach out to Muslims in America and worldwide. The Muslim Next Door, is a guide for churches and individuals to evangelize Muslims. A clear understanding of pure Islamic knowledge can make a difference in our relationships with Muslims in our neighborhoods.
A Catholic guide for parent and child to discuss the child's emerging sexuality. Reviews: "I thank Carolyn J. Smith for thoughtfully and prayerfully compiling a resource that will help parents in explaining the facts of life to their children by placing it within the context of our Faith and the Theology of the Body. Growing Up in God's Image is a wonderful tool for any parent..." Lisa M. Hendey, Founder and Editor CatholicMom.com and author of A Book of Saints for Catholic Moms "This book guides parents to gradually expand a child's understanding of life beginning with how the love of family reflects the love of God. Teaching the facts of life fully demands including the spiritual. Caroline does a beautiful job explaining the physical changes that occur during puberty while including the responsibility to be true to God's plan and purpose for our bodies. The life lessons are presented in clear language and will enrich not just the children, but the parents also reading this book as an aid." Patti Maguire Armstrong, author "Courageous, timely and beautifully sensitive. In a time when our children are bombarded by all the wrong messages about their bodies, here is a wonderful guide for parents to talk to their children about Godliness, their bodies and sex." Donna Piscitelli, children's author "A useful guidebook for parents and a resource that's sure to strengthen your family. Discard the dread of "the talk" and embrace the beauty of a faith-based approach. My copy's sure to be dog-eared and passed along " Sarah Reinhard, author of Catholic Family Fun and SnoringScholar.com

THIS BOOK WILL HELP CHURCHES GET & STAY ORGANIZED. THEN WATCH GROWTH
Everyone knows that Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Is it possible that they have misunderstood the entire concept of the Messiah and his function in God's spiritual economy? Passages such as Isaiah 53 and Zechariah 13 are viewed as messianic by the Church but has the Church misused them to point to a confused portrait of a man that shouldn't have applied for the position? Is the New Testament an accurate picture of the events surrounding the times of Jesus or, is it fiction? As a former Christian of 25 years and son of a Southern Baptist minister, James entered a Messianic Jewish congregation to experience the teachings of the Messianic movement. Convinced something was terribly wrong, he left the movement and started studying to find the truth. After five years of intensive study and much prayer, James reveals in simple language how Christians have been lead down a path paved with deceit. Starting with the basics of Christianity, James then examines the "Messianic" prophecies that the gospel writers abused to point to Jesus, then the author dispels Christianity and uncovers the truth, beauty and simplicity of the Hebrew Bible. This book is written with two types of people in mind. First, for the Christian, in order to help them understand what they are dealing with when they try to make sense of Jesus and the New Testament. The second type of person, is the one who would like to learn how to defend their beliefs against the Christian missionary that uses the Hebrew Scriptures to promote their version of the messiah and their misplaced emphasis on him.
Grace Theological Institute series delves deeply into the Grace of God in all of its manifestations. There are five forms of grace. None of them can be ignored. To be fully equiped, all the five forms should be understood by believers and non-believers. Material Grace is the gift of matter and time to mankind. Matter and time are means of provision and resources for man to be managed. In this Tome, the origin and purpose of matter, time, and life are covered. Other theories on matter and life, such as Intelligent Design, the big bang, and evolution, are discussed. It is emphasized in this Tome 2 and in Tome 3 that consciousness is not a product of any biochemical process, but can be explained through quantum physics of life bosons. It is also shown that life existed before matter.
God's Truth says what should have been said thousands of years ago. If it had been, history would not have recorded the millions upon millions of people that were needlessly slaughtered in the name of God and religion. For an eye-opening experience and to bridge the divisions between us, read God's Truth: we have been misinformed about God for the last 3,000 years The religions of the world have not lived up to their promise of bringing peace, love and understanding to mankind. In fact, religion has brought just the opposite: war, hate and intolerance. How is this possible? Quite simply because we have the wrong picture in our minds about who, where and what is God. God's Truth clarifies the "who, where and what" God is, and therefore can bring unity and understanding to people everywhere. The book is not based on opinions, religions or ancient writings. As the title suggests, it is entirely built upon evidence that can be understood by the youngest children. This evidence has been with us for thousands of years, but has been largely overlooked until now. God's Truth is written in a friendly, conversational style. Because it unfolds facts that have been overlooked, it is arresting, intriguing and unique. The book will appeal to people throughout the world, irrespective of religion or ethnic background, as it points a way for mankind to find the real God, without any theology or its divisive concepts. This book is a selection of essays and sermons from Meadville Lombard students, faculty and alumni/ae. From the Introduction: "Unitarian Universalism is a questioning faith. Hence it is appropriate that the title of this second Meadville Lombard Reader is, The Abiding Questions of a Free Church, taken from Alice Blair Wesley's essay contribution of the same title. This attitude of a questioning faith captures well the tenor of the essays and sermons chosen for inclusion in this volume. The essays and sermons that follow were selected from a wealth of submissions from the Meadville Lombard community."

This is a rewrite of the original book that was first published in 2010. The newer version contains issues and truths that some scholars won't agree with and which was not in the original book. This version fully explains how important the Holy Spirit is in our life. After the original book was published, Jesus through the Holy Spirit, said he was pleased with the book, but would like for the book to be rewritten by the author. The Holy Spirit told the author the that Jesus and God wanted the author to re-read and re-study the New Testament and re-write the book, with the authors interpretation and opinion. Jesus and God wanted all controversies, myths and contradictions confronted in the newer version, so the people know all truths. The book now contains what Jesus and God wanted and is based on facts in the New Testament and additional facts the Holy Spirit told the author to put in the book, along with the author's opinions after he re-studied the New Testament for over 2 years. This version contains the author's interpretation and opinions about-1-how important the Holy Spirt is in every person's life, every day-2- why God wrote the Commandments-3- Why Jesus was sent to earth - 4- Jesus' teachings, and happenening during Jesus' time on earth. The book contains truths and opinions on the following subjects-1-SEX-2-PRAYING-3- Who are True Believers in Jesus Christ-4- That Jesus wrote the 4 Gospels-5-Did Mary Magdalene and Jesus have a Personal Relationship-6-Can some sins can be forgiven-7-When will the World Ends-8-What happens to our spirit when we die-9-What will happen to Humans after the world ends-10-ETERNAL LIFE-11-Why does God limit who will live in his Kingdom-12-MIRACLES-13-CHILDREN and JESUS-14-ADULTERY-15- ABORTIONS-16-MONEY and POSSESSIONS-17-Same sex Marriage-18-Is humans life time on earth pre-determine-19-How Humans judging other humans, is wrong and againnst God's law -20-Giving to the poor. The book hones in on the subject of, Why Peter, one of Jesus' trusted Apostles never wrote a Gospel, The book explains, "The relationship Peter had with Jesus and how their relationship deteriorated in the end. The book contains the facts and opinions that God wanted in the book, so every person on earth will be able to decide between God and the Devil, regardin where they will spend eternity. God and Jesus wanted all controveries, myths and contradictions issues confronted and the book does that. Most religious scholars will say the author is wrong and he is a nut and he has no ideal what he is talking about, however each reader must decide that for themselves. After reading this book once, the reader will understand and know more about Jesus and God, than they will by going to church every Sunday for 10 years.
"Strugglebook: A Logical Search for the Truth of GOD" explores the probability for the existence of God based primarily on the logic derived from science. While it addresses issues applicable to theology, it is not a theological work. There are literally hundreds of books on this subject, most detailing a standard set of arguments. This book follows that pattern for the first part but then extends itself into a series of coalescing arguments built on the latest science, all of which results in a unique presentation on the subject. Forming a conclusion respecting the reality of God on something as cold as logic is contrary to approaches generally considered acceptable to religious organizations that favor perhaps more ephemeral means based on redemption and faith. Those approaches based on other than logic have proven very successful for many individuals. That notwithstanding, the author is representative of that very large group of people who live in environments replete with corporate missions, budget building and spreadsheets, strength, weakness, opportunity and threat exercises, performance yields, compensation management, management by objective, measuring outcomes, and mini-MBA courses. The resulting objectivity built through vocation, results for many individuals, including the author, in a need to question the rationale behind faith and God. This book is the record of a search for the reality of God consistent with satisfying the needs dictated by the logic often demanded by the modern mind. Do world and personal events result in a questioning of your faith? Do you wonder about a God that could allow 9/11 or the deaths of tens of thousands in a cyclone? Have you watched as someone you love suffers, and as a result, questioned the very existence of God? Have the truths of modern science served to displace your belief in God? Does your working life consumed with spreadsheets, schedules, logical analysis, objectives, investment returns, getting the job done on time, and all the other appendages of working life impose an atmosphere that works against belief in God? Do you feel unsure about sharing your beliefs with others because you may be ridiculed? Have you been exposed to the views of Richard Dawkins through his book The God Delusion, or other well known atheists who attempt seemingly with some success to use science to prove God doesn't exist and in so doing, relegate your beliefs as unworthy? These questions and situations imposed themselves on the author of this book, an educator and computer application designer who decided to take a year out of his life and find the answers. This book chronicles his search for the truth of God. Calling on history and using the very latest scientific knowledge, coupled with related philosophy, and sometimes delivered somewhat irreverently, the book delves into the issues, presenting positive and dissenting views respecting the existence of God and then argues the case from the data presented. The reader shares the full rationale for decisions made.
The Day I Met God is a collection of unique, powerful stories told by Americans with one thing in common. Young and old, rich and poor, famous and infamous -- they were all searching for something to fill a void in their lives, and they all found it in a personal, life-changing encounter with God. Their amazing stories show how God used the circumstances of their lives -- good, bad, and worse -- to arrange a meeting with Himself. Through miraculous visions, quiet revelations, life and death situations, or gentle persuasion, these people met God, and He filled their empty hearts with freedom, joy, and hope.
To everyone who has ever laid in bed wondering about life after death, or the existence of God. For all of us, reaching out for any tiny piece of evidence to corroborate our beliefs, or strengthen our doubts. For everyone undergoing a serious illness at home, or in the hospital, or are nearing the end of our journey, and now reside in a hospice, or nursing home. For all of us crying out for some sense to our suffering, this book may offer some relief. This book is not meant to be an academic study, but a source of hope, a comforting perspective, and a reassurance of the existence of God. It is my presumption that the actual orders of creation are very similar. In fact when compared to any other religious beliefs, Genesis is the closest in description, to the actual scientific order of creation we know today. This book is an informal look at the origins of life on this planet, looking at science and Genesis. The question is simple. Does the Book of Genesis, written thousands of years ago, accurately describe the chronological Order of Creation on this planet? Is this coincidence, or divine inspiration?
