Having been blind since the age of two, twenty-year-old Mun decides to undergo a risky corneal transplant operation. When the bandages come off, the operation seems to have been successful, but Mun begins to experience unnerving visions of mysterious strangers and it soon transpires that the face she is seeing in the mirror is not her own. Desperate to escape from this nightmare, Mun sets out to discover the identity of the person through whose eyes she is now viewing the world.

Drawn increasingly towards left-wing ideas, Kunjunni eventually participates in violent protest and is thrown in jail. Upon his release he attempts to start a normal family and to reconcile his dreams with the reality around him. Will he succeed?
Czech filmmaker Jiri Menzel directs this comedy drama set in a labour camp in 1950s Communist-run Prague. The film tells the stories of the various characters interned in the labour camp-cum-scrapyard, who have been deemed counter-revolutionary and 'bourgeois' by the Czech government and are now forced to spend their days sorting out piles of scrap metal for the purposes of 're-education'. As they toil, the workers - who include a literature professor, a public prosecutor, a dairyman, a saxophonist, a barber and a cook - philosophise and flirt amid the detritus of industrial society. Although shot in 1969, the film was banned by the Czech government until the fall of the Communist regime in 1990.
Wai Keung (Andrew) Lau directs this martial arts action drama set in Japanese-occupied 1920s Shanghai. Seven years after the apparent death of Chen Zhen (portrayed by Bruce Lee in the 1972 film 'Fist of Fury' and played here by Donnie Yen), the avenging hero returns. When he is not courting sultry nightclub singer Kiki (Qi Shu), Zhen takes it upon himself to stop the wave of assassinations sweeping Shanghai, donning a black mask to infiltrate the mob and track down the Japanese hitmen who have been killing off those named in their top-secret Death List.

But it isn't long before strange occurrences begin: the ceiling leaks incessantly - and when the ghost of a small girl in a yellow dress starts to appear around the place, Yoshimi's already precarious grip on her sanity gives way completely.

Burdened by sorrow and guilt, he decides to avenge Christina's death and brings Mia along on a crusade to clear his sister's name of pornographic connotations.The mission escalates into a brutal and violent rout as August attempts desperately to protect the only thing he holds dear, namely Mia, forcing him to make a fateful decision.

With a dismal track record of relationships to his name, Fuku has his lonely existence shaken-up by the arrival of old flame Chiho (Asami Mizukawa), who has been driven to the city to gain forgiveness from the boy she once traumatised. As he falls in love with his childhood sweetheart all over again, will Fuku finally be able to forgive her and overcome his fear of the opposite sex?
French drama, based on the Greek myth of Tiresias, who was both male and female at the same time. Played by Clara Choveaux, Tiresia is a young Brazilian transsexual living in a rough neighbourhood on the outskirts of Paris. Refined aesthete Terranova (Laurent Lucas) becomes obsessed with Tiresia and kidnaps her, dragging her off to the country. However, removed from her regular supply of hormones, Tiresia gradually begins to change back into a man (where he is played by Thiago Telès). Terranova becomes disgusted with him, and in his rage cuts the boy's eyes out. Blinded, Tiresia wanders the countryside until he is found by Anna (Célia Catalifo), a young girl who decides to take care of him.
Marking Ingmar Bergman's debut as screenwriter and directed by Alf Sjöberg, this expressionistic crime of passion revolves around a young student, Jan-Erik (Alf Kjellin), his sadistic Latin teacher, nicknamed 'Caligula' (Stig Järrel), and a newsagent assistant-cum-prostitute, Bertha (Mai Zetterling). When Jan-Erik assists the drunken Bertha, he becomes her lover. Bertha is, however, terrified of another man, whom it becomes clear is terrorising her. When Jan-Erik finds Bertha dead, he accuses Caligula of being responsible. The themes of creaticity, mentors and oppressive authority, which would become Bergman's trademarks, are staked out in this semi-autobiographical work.

Lonnie Cabot is a down-on-his-luck night-club cleaner without any friends. Well, he believes he has befriended club patron Brian Bekker, a manic depressive who is in love with dancer Sonja. Lonnie’s life is flipped upside down after finding a box containing a watch and a wad of cash, hidden in a toilet and Brian convincing him to bet the cash on a horse race. What he does not know is that his Russian boss is trafficking diamonds in the walls of the box and is desperate to find his loot. Meanwhile, local gang leader Jackie Jardine is looking for his son’s murderer, and he believes Lonnie is the culprit. As they cannot retrieve the cash from the bookies, Lonnie and Brian steal a valuable lucky fish in order to repay the debt to the Russian mob.
