Die Grenzen zwischen Normal und Ab normal wurden dabei nicht, wie sonst, von der Seite des Normalen abges eckt, sondern umgekehrt von der Seite der MiBbildungen und Anomalien her. Da eine Entscheidung zwischen Anomalien und anatomischen Varianten nicht immer leicht ist, so wurde auch der letzteren ausfUhrlicher gedacht. Den neuesten Anschauungen uber formale und kausale Genese der MiB bildungen inklusive Anlagefehler wurde breit Rechnung getragen und bezuglich der nicht-keimbedingten MiBbildungen versucht, den Zeitpunkt der MiBbildungs entstehung genauer zu datieren. Damit scheint mir eine Plattform erreicht, welche als Ausgangspunkt fUr weitere Forschungen verwertbar ist.
