MaimeriBlu features an absolute purity of pigments that, together with gum arabic, compose the totality of the mixture. Imperceptible, transparent, clean. No blending powders, and no additives. Nothing harmonises or synchronises the shift between the various shades. The real value lies in the transparency of its colours and in the freshness of its washes. It is the whiteness of the paper that illuminates this type of painting. The light is behind the colour.

For many years artists have appreciated the qualities of the Langton. Made traditionally on a cylinder mould machine, it features a natural whiteness with a soft touch and distinctive texture. Langton watercolour paper is acid free with an alkali reserve to preserve finished pieces of work and protect against discolouration. Treated with an anti-fungal treatment, Langton watercolour paper also boasts a gelatinised surface for strength and resilience. Please note, these sheets are hot-pressed: they have an extremely smooth surface, and are ideal for detailed watercolour painting.
