When people think about the business world, they tend to think more about the political economy of operating environments than the intricacies of ethics and diversity management in offshore locations. However, all these factors are equally pertinent to successful global business management and a successful international business.
Globalisation and technological innovation also need to be considered. And while the controversy that surrounds globalisation has tainted the proceeds of growth and economic prosperity, the improvement in quality of life brought about by technological advances in global financial integration cannot be overemphasised.
Principles of Global Business Management tackles these and other tough and complicated questions, giving a well-considered and rounded view on teh messy world of Global Business Management. Some of the book's highlights include:
- A new perspective on globalisation, taking into account the recent uprising of populist ideologies in emerging markets and the developed world
- A chapter on ethics and global diversity management
- A chapter on technological, information and business innovation
- A chapter on global capital market dynamics, specifically addressing the adoption and adaptation of financial instruments as they affect cross-border investment decisions
- A unique approach to the evaluation of institutional instruments and the attraction of investment in emeging markets (especially in Africa)
- A blend of theory and practical knowledge of operating environments, especially in emerging markets, and more specifically in Africa.

WORST BOOK EVER WRITTEN
Fri, 4 May 2018 | Review
by: Samantha P.
How can the publishers Juta Legal and Academic Publishers agree to publish such a book. This is an awful product. This book uses Verbose language that I am sure the author can't understand or transcribe. I wanted to learn about Global business Management. This course taught me nothing except how to try and transcribe the inner workings of someone else's very odd mind. A 274 page poem by Shakespeare would be easier to transcribe. This book is 274 pages of codswallop which bellies at the authors inability to understand the subject material.

As a university student majoring in business & management sciences, I find the publication dreadful. Having to spend most of my time trying to comprehend the literature as opposed to understanding the ideologies of global business management & global business operations. The text is filled with allegories. I did not find it enriching.

Worst Textbook Ever - No value added to my learning

by: Moipone L.
I am a final year student at UNISA and this is the first time I had to complain about how terrible a textbook is written. I will not recommend this textbook to anyone and will not give it to anyone. Going to sell it once I have passed this module to get my module back. It's not worth any cent a spent on it.
1. the authors use big useless English words
2. concepts are all over show, no flow of topics
3. does not make sense, not clear on what is the main objective of this book/module, its a mixture of everything, from business management, economics, auditing etc.
4. Useless academic textbook I have ever read in my entire life

Worst book prescribed to teach students when it is aimed in educating other researchers with Doctorate level english. Expect to use a dictionary while studying with this book.
