Martial arts action feature starring Bolo Yeung and Britton K. Lee. In Portland, Oregon, LA cop John Keem (Lee) is desperate for revenge after his former partner (David Mountain) is murdered by ruthless drug dealer Milverstead (Richard Norton). However, between him and justice stands Milverstead's second in command Ice (Bolo Yeung), a deadly and remorseless martial arts expert who will stop at nothing to protect his boss.
Bret Easton Ellis' disturbing novel is brought to the screen by Mary Harron. In 1987, twentysomething Wall Street broker Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) seems to have it all: he is handsome, successful and engaged to the beautiful Evelyn (Reese Witherspoon). However, Patrick is also engaged in an affair with Courtney Rawlinson (Samantha Mathis) - his colleague's fiancée - and at night indulges in a confused orgy of drugs, pornography, prostitution and murder fantasies. When Patrick is outshone by a rival at a board meeting, he takes out his frustration by knifing a man sleeping rough in the street. This sparks off a descent into violence and madness, with Patrick embarking on a bloody and random killing spree.

As Adam sinks into depression, Eve returns to him, sensing his despair, and the two rekindle their romance. However, the arrival of Eve's younger sister Ava (Wasikowska) threatens their relationship. The film also stars John Hurt and Anton Yelchin.

Documentary about Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki. Director Anna Schmidt follows Penderecki over the course of a year as he travels to locations such as Munich and Vienna and journeys to his home in Luslawice. The film features extracts from his works, archive material and interviews with the composer and those who know him including Anne-Sophie Mutter, Julian Rachlin, Janine Jansen, Jonny Greenwood and Andrzej Wajda.

Sylvester Stallone's rags-to-riches boxing drama won the Oscar for Best Film of 1976. Club fighter Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) has hit rock bottom. Having turned thirty, his boxing career is virtually over and he now makes a living collecting payments for a loan shark. Things start to look up when he begins dating Adrian (Talia Shire), sister of his friend Paulie (Burt Young). However, when world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) decides to take on a 'nobody' in his title fight, Rocky finds himself chosen. Encouraged by his coach, Mickey (Burgess Meredith), he begins training for the big fight - much to Adrian's disapproval.

Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson star in this Academy Award-nominated drama based on the life of author P.L. Travers and Walt Disney's attempt to gain the rights to adapt her novel 'Mary Poppins'. In 1961, when her book sales begin to decline, Travers (Thompson) reluctantly enters into negotiations with Disney (Hanks), who promised his daughters 20 years previously that he would turn their favourite story into a movie. Initially Travers is unyielding and flashbacks to her childhood in 1907 demonstrate why her novel and, in particular, her eponymous character are so precious to her. Eventually she agrees to let Disney go ahead with the movie but will she approve of the final outcome? The cast also features Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman and Ruth Wilson. Thomas Newman received an Oscar nomination for his score.
